Preparing for my weekly call with nurse Sally
My Monday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by shaving. I then began to do my back stretches and stroke recovery stretches. At 6:00 I then took a shower before going into the main camp at 6:20. I then had a cup of hot cocoa with some fruit. After doing so, I had eaten m bowl of cereal with a toasted english muffin. At 6:50 I then returned to my camp so as to brush my teeth. Once I had my eye and nose drops in, I then took in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 7:35 my father and I left camp. He had taken me over to Franklin Memorial Hospital to have a covid-19 test, it is just preceder that you have follow these days before anything you do involving something to do medically. Once we had drove into the tent, we called and a nurse came out of the hospital. I then rolled down my window. She then swabbed my nose. I will not know the results until tomorrow. At 8:15 we then arrived at Wal-mart to buy three bags of salt to use at home to help keep the water soft. At 8:35 we then stopped at Hanaford to picked up my medication. At 8:44 we then made a stop at the Big Apple to get some gas for my father's truck. We then made a stopped at the town office before going home. We had arrived home at 9:30 where we met my mother. I had stayed there with her until 10:05. My mother and then left for camp. My father stayed behind to do some laundry. At 10:30 we had arrived at camp. Once the car was unpacked, I then put all my medication back in my cupboard. At 10:40 I then recopied my notes that I started to take today into a clean notepad. I did not have enough room in the one that began to use this morning to finish the day out. I then wrote down questions to ask nurse Sally to prepare for her weekly call. My mother's Cell phone finally rang at 11:00. Sally then let me know to message her on messenger, so that we could connect and talk face to face. I then began to ask Sally some questions. for example was it o.k. to use eye drops and nose drops before my procedure. I also asked her if using my inhaler was o.k. She then asked me if it was o.k. to call my mother Wednesday July 6 after my procedure to see how things went. She let me know that I would be out of it most likely and unable to talk to her. I let her know of course it was o.k. At 11:23 we ended our call. At 11:30 I then did some reading before going into the main camp at 11:45. I then spoke to my mother letting her know what Sally and I talked about. At 12:00 I then watched the local news while eating lunch. at 12:30 I then returned to my camp so as to brush my teeth. I then lied down to rest. I had slept until 4:30 before waking. four hours. I was shocked when I looked at the time. I then went into the main camp to eat dinner with my parents. At 5:15 I then returned to my camp to take a shower. At 5:40 I then pulled up my blog a and began to type of my day.
