Picking Barrie's

My Wednesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. By getting out of bed so as to do my stretching. After thirty minutes I then grabbed my dumb bells and began to work my upper body. Once I had completed the routine, I then strapped on my ankle weights so as to work my ledges. Although the days become more and more discouraging, I still keep plugging away. Once I had completed my workout, I had taken my shower thus getting ready before going into the main camp so as to have some toast with with peanutbutter and honey. Once I had finished eating I had returned my camp so as to brush my teeth. At 6:40 I then sat to wait for my ride. United had arrived at 7:10. I then hopped for the long ride into WestSide. Upon my arrival for 9:00 a.m. I had put my things into my locker. Tobie then had gardening group outside picking blackberries. After doing so, as we were walking back inside, Tobie had asked me if I would like to present on Tuesday October 25th at a Brain Injury conference. I responded yes. I thought it would be a great chance to practice those communication skills I use to be so very good at. WestSide will be closed that day, so I will not be missing out on any of my therapy. At 10:00 during memory strategies group, Michelle had us playing head band. It is a great game for communication and working your memory. At 11:00 I had met with the Brain Injury Education group. Today Michelle had us working on a clean ts story, so as to present at a presentation. We then gave feedback after listening to the story being read. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch. I then took a shower before going to support group. Once we had finished sharing, I then grabbed my things at 2:00 and left for camp. I had arrived at camp at 3:30. Upon doing so I had lied down to rest. I had slept until 5:40 before getting up. I then jumped in the shower to wake up before eating dinner. I then went back to my camp to blog.
