My Monday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by going into the main camp, so as to drink my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. After doing so, I then had a bacon and egg sandwich on english muffin. Once I had finished eating, At 6:00 I then returned to my camp to brush my teeth and shave. At 6:12 I had taken a shower. Once I was dressed and ready to go, I had put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 6:30 I then preceded to do my back and stroke stretches. After doing so, I had put an ice pack on my back while waiting for United Wheelchair to arrive. United had pulled into my camp driveway at 7:30, I then was on my way to WestSide. Upon my arrival 8:55 I had told the receptionist that I needed Thursday off to go to a Doctors appointment. I then made my way down to the gym for my P.T. session with Dan. Dan first had me walking seven loops around the perimeter of the downstairs, which averaged out to be 1225 feet. At 9:10 Dan put up a yellow sticker on the wall with a letter X on it. I then had to walk while scanning to try to find it, so as to work on my balance. I then went back into the gym to go into the parallel bars with a square block and a cuission in the bars. I had to stand on the cuission and block working on my balance. Dan then had me cross my arms and look to right, left, up, and down. He then had me walking the hall one more time. At 10:00 I then went to the kitchen to sit for a half hour for a break. At 10:30 during cooking group an O.T. student named Betsy came to observe. Today Keileigh had us making shishcubarbs. We had to do it inside because it was raining. I washed and chopped potatos. I then mixed vegetables that two other clients copped with a b b q sauce. We also had corn or the cob. Once we had finished eating, I went home. I had arrived back at camp at 1:56. I had brush my teeth and went strait to bed. I had slept until 4:50 before taking a shower. I then went into the camp to eat dinner. Home made Pea soup. At 5:58 I then returned to my camp to blog of my day.
