Having a Occipital Nerve Block. " Happy Valentines Day!"

My Valentins Day Morning began on this Friday at 9:00 a.m. by eating my fruit while drinking a hot cup of cocoa. At 9:15 I then had a toasted english muffin with peanut-butter on one half and jam on the other, along with a bowl of cereal with banana. Once I had finished eating, at 9:30 I then brushed my teeth and shaved. After taking a shower and getting dressed for the day, at 10:00 I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 11:00 I then left the house with my father for Maine medical partners neurology in Scarborough. We arrived at the neurologist Main Medical Partners Neurology at 1:17. After meeting with the nurse, I then meet with Lisa who would be giving me the Occipital Nerve Block on each side of my upper neck. It is three shots of medication that run up to the nerves in your brain to help prevent headaches. If you would like to know more about the procedure, you can google it. After the procedure, I was a little droopy, and I had to wait to come to before standing up and leaving the office. I slept all the way home for two hours, after arriving home at 4:30 I was still a little out of it and unable to function. Once inside my bedroom, I put on something comfortable before eating dinner at 4:50. At 5:20 I then pulled up my blog and called it a day.
