My Wednesday morning began at 8:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen so as to drink my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. After doing so I then had eaten some home fries, leftover beans and a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 8:38 to make my bed. At 8:40 I then brushed my teeth and shaved before putting in my eye and nose drops. At 9:06 I then did some reading with my large print books from Christian Record Services. I had read until 10:00. Then I had my doxy doc counseling with Frank. We spoke about how my pomonology appointment went with doctor Scott Dyer. I let him know how they took three vials of blood from me, how I wake at night not breathing, how he looked at my throat, went over medications, and how he flushed my eats out. We then spoke about the benefits of medication and the tolerance levels. We also spoke about how doctors focus on one thing at a time. My goal for the week is to find out if there are any support groups out there for visually impaired people. I then googled online support groups for visually impaired people. We also spoke about thinking about some questions to ask my primary care doctor at my next appointment with Dr. Seally my primary care doctor. At 10:45 we wrapped up our session. I then called the Iris Network to see about support groups for the blind and visually impaired. They then directed me to a Leona Mc Kenna to call in the Augusta Waterville areal. That is the closest support group to me. She let me know that they meet every first and third Tuesday of the month from 7:00-8:30. Th group is called vista. It is a phone call group. 333-7087 toll free conference line. Once my call ended, I then put my dates on my calendar. At 12:25 i then lied down to rest. I had slept from 12:25-3:17. Once I had taken a shower, I then did some reading before eating dinner. At 4:12 I then put an ice pack on my back, reading while doing so. At 4:40 I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.
