I began my Friday morning on this second day of December at 5:00 a.m. by doing my stretches. At 5:30 I then went into the kitchen to eat my breakfast. After doing so, I had returned to my bedroom to finish my stretching. At 6:00 I then took a shower and shaved, so as to ge ready for the day ahead. After doing so, I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 7:55 I then left the house on United Wheelchair for WestSide. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:00 a.m. Once inside, I had gone strait to the kitchen for cooking group. Today we had made home made chicken nuggets, french fries, and pumpkin cookies. My task was to get all the ingredients out to make the batter to dip the chicken in and make the bather. Then once the chicken was cut, another clients and I dunked the chopped pieces of chicken in the batter and lied each piece on the cookie sheet to be baked. Two other clients made pumpkin cookies and the fries. Once things were cooking, another client and I looked for a for next week. Then Mindy came in who oversees things that go on at WestSide and let us know that there was plenty of turkey left over from Thanksgiving at WestSide for us to make turkey pot pies. For dessert we will be making rice krispy treats. At 10:40 we then sat down to eat. While we were eating I had notice that Skylar a rehab tech in the group had the same shirt on that I had. What a coincidence. My P.T. Dan was in the group too because there were to many clients for one staff to doc on. At 11:24 I then loaded into the United van with another client and went home. We had to go to Sabbatus first to drop the other client off first, so I did not get home until 1:00. Once I was in my bedroom and had something comfortable on, I lied down to rest and slept until 4:00. Once I had taken a shower, I began to blog at 4:30. I then ate dinner before pulling up my blog and typing of my day.
