Having my P.T. and O.T. evaluation's today
My Tuesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by going into the kitchen to eat my fruit while drinking a cup of hot cocoa. After doing so, I then had an egg sandwich between two english muffin halves. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 5:45 to brush my teeth. At 6:00 I then made my bed before starting in with my back stretches. I then continued with my stroke stretches. At 6:17 I then had shaved before taking a shower. Once I was dressed and ready for the day ahead, I then put in my eye and nose drops. Once I took in two puffs of air with my inhaler, I sat down to listen to my audio book while waiting for United Wheelchair to arrive. Riding long distances still gives me a headache since my two concussions. At 7:30 United had arrived, and I was soon on my way. At 9:00 I arrived going strait to the gym for my P.T. eval with Cary. During the session Caryn Cary tested my balance, strength, and en-durance. In doing so, I pushed my leg against her arm and walked the hallway as many laps as I could. After the assessment, Caryn said that we would start at two sessions per week then bump it up to three. At 10:00 I then went to Natelllie's office for my O.T. evaluation. She first gave me two hand grips to squeeze. I then squeezed each one to see the difference in strength in comparison to each side. She then determined what we could work on to help me week side. We also talked about working on other things like budgeting , writing grips trength, and cooking. Once my O.T. evaluation was finished, at 11:00 I then went home. I arrived home at 12:08. At 12:15 once I was comfortable, I went into the kitchen to eat lunch. At 12:40 I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I slept from 12:50-3:30. I then went into the kitchen to eat dinner. At 3::50 I then returned to my bedroom to take my shower and get comfortable for the evening. At 4:15 I then pulled up my blog and typed of my day.
