After spending time at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Then being transported to d'youville rehab center, today marks my 100th day from the day I had my stroke on May 2nd. It also happens to be the day I get discharged from d'youville and go home. Home? What is that? As usual I have a busy day ahead of me. Already this morning I have spent an hour stretching those muscles. Later I will be haveing one of the cna's Holly help me pack to get ready to meet my parents here at d'youville for a discharge meeting at 9:00 a.m. After that meeting is done, we are then going to WestSide Neourorehab to meet with Vicky Lamoth the intake coordinator. We will then meet with Dr. Perna who is the neouro psychologyst at WestSide. It so weird, I never thougtafter spending ten years doing out patient rehab at WestSide to help get living indipendently learning an entire new community ing Auburn. That at this point in my life I would be starting from square 1. This time it is more fisical then cognative.
