Well I'm finally home. As of 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. During my meeting at West Side Neouro rehabilitation services I first meet with DR. Perna to discuss my programing at WestSide. He had asked me what services I would like to receive while at WestSide. I told him I would like to still receive O.T., P.T., and Speech. For definate. That is one positive thing since I just recently had a brain injury I can receive O.T., P.T., and Speech. Where as before I could not because my aneurysm happened at the age of six. Dr. Perna also suggested I have my theropy spread out to give me time to rest and recoup between each session. I then meet with Vicky Lamothe the intake coordinator. With her we signed paper work and then we talked and laughed about back when she worked with me as a rehab tech. She had help me when I first moved out into my first appartment. My only appartment for that matter. Mom, Dad and I then went to eat lunch at applebees. We left for home at 1:50. After stopping off at Hanaford to pick up medication I have to take to prevent siezures and further strokes, we soon arrived home at 4:00. Home at last. After 100days I am finally home. Now I sit and wait for stage 2 of my recovery to begin. Outpatient rehab at WestSide.
