Bowling during p.t.
My Wednesday morning began this day at 5:15 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing so, I had gone out into the kitchen to eat my breakfast. After a bowl of cereal and a toasted muffin, I had returned to my bedroom at 6:15 to shower and get ready for the day ahead. Once I was ready, I had grabbed my lunch and my knapsack and out the door I went. United Wheelchair had me at WestSides doorstep at 9:25 a.m. Just enought time to put my lunch in my locker. After doing so, I had met with Maria for my weekly counseling session. We first spoke about acceptence. Accepting where I am at in my recovery at this time. I then showed her some of the writing I had done over this past week. At 10:00 I had then met Mat in the gym for my P.T. session. I had worked on my balance while using the wii. I had stood on an erix pad with left foot foroward and bowled a game against Matt. The next game I had stood on the erix pad with my right foot in front of the left. Once we had finished bowling we then played tennis using the wii thus working on my balance. At 11:00 I had then gone to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group. Today we first reviewed the presentation we are doing at the Cascade Brook Middle School. We then discussed some other possible presentation that could be done. Like one at WestSide in front of new staff and clients. We also discussed, March being Brain Injury Awareness Month and how we will be going to a Goodwill Store With Terry to promote it. At 12:00 I then went to lunch. After lunch I had taken a shower. I then made my way back to the conference room for support group. Today we spoke about how feeeling tired makes us feel with Maria. At 2:00 I had left for home. I had arrived home at 3:11 thus goint strait to bed. I had slept unitl 5:21 before getting up to eat dinner. I had then returned to my bedroom to blog at 5:21 before calling it a day.
