Talking about dates for an upcoming presentation in B.I.E. group
My Wednesday morning began on this day at 5:00 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing so, I then began to do my weight exercises. After doing so, I then had taken my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:00 a.m. I then went out into the kitchen to have a bowl of with a toasted english muffin with lemon curd. Once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom at 6:30 ao as to brush my teeth. I then sat down to fill my empty pill containers. After doing so, I then brought my knapsack and lunch to the door. I then walked out to the mail box so as to get the mail and today's paper. At 7:15 I then put the wash in the dryer, nothing is going to dry on a wet day like today. At 7:45 I then picked up the phone to call my grandmother. After doing so, I sat down to read, while waiting for United Wheelchair. Upon my arrival to WestSide, I had put my things into my locker before meeting with Brad. We continued with our mindfulness practice. At 10:00 I then had met Joyce in the gym for my p.t. session. Joyce first had me riding the nu step. I had gone for thirty minutes and 1.5 miles before turning to doing some weight exercises with my upper body. At 11:00 I then made my way to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group. Today Michelle and Deb first had us review last weeks agenda, we then preceded with this weeks. This was good, because I was out last week. We then proceded to talk about dates that would be good for the upcoming presentation we are planning to give to the new staff and clients at WestSide. At 12:00 Carina let me know while in the dining area while I was eating my lunch of next weeks poetry group assignment. While on lunch duty she had let me know that we were to write a nonsense poem or nursery rhyme for next week. At 12:20 I then took a shower. After doing so, I had made my way upstairs to the lobby. I had met Danielle in the hallway upstairs and she had made the comment, "Troy you look much better." I replied, "I am on new medication, and it seems to be working." At 1:00 I then made my way to the conference room for support group. Today's quote that was discussed, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away." Once we had finished sharing with Brad and Deb, we then went to our next therapy. I then had speech with Susan from 2:00-3:00. Susan read short paragraphs, I then in return try to repeat them back to her using only my memory. In doing so we had worked my communicating better. In doing so I am hoping to better myself for my presentation in Brain Injury Education Group. At 3:00 During a support session with Deb, We had worked on pintrist app, thus writing out steps on how to get to a workout program on pintrist. At 3:30 I then left for home. I had arrived home at 5:00, once I was comfy I had eaten my dinner before sitting down to blog.
