HAPPY LEAP DAY
My Leap Day morning began on this Monday at 5:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen so as to eat my fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I then had a bowl of hot cereal with a piece of toast. At 5:48 I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth then take my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. I then gathered my things and out the door I went. I had arrived at therapy at 8:40, thus bringing my things to my locker. once I had my knapsack unpacked and my lunch in its space, I then sat down to read. It is much quieter downstairs in the dining area at this time of day. At 9:45 I then went back upstairs to sit in the lobby, as I was doing so my vision had turned blurry and the world around me began to spin. I was experiencing and aura. A quite intense one at that. Luckily I had until 10:00 a.m. free. Once the aura was gone, I then was clear to make my way to the conference room. during poetry group I was the only client. Today Carina talked about Diamonte poetry. We had written one during poetry group. She then assigned me to write two more over the week. At 11:00 I then met Liz in the gym. Today she and I started to get the t.v. ready to do a workout. As we were doing so, I had experienced an aura. That killed the session. I was then tired and had to rest through lunch. During lunch, Liz had monitored me because she had noticed a droop in my lip during the time of my aura on the right side. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch. I then took a shower before meeting with Deb. She and I worked on a project I started with Tobie painting blocks. At 2:00 I then met with Piper for case management. We spoke briefly about doctors appointments I then went home. I had slept all the way home. I usually do after a seizure or aura. I then went to bed once inside from 3:35-5:04. I then had dinner before calling my grandmother. I then pulled up my blog.
