Playing chess during recreational therapy
My Tuesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. By getting out of bed so as to stretch. After doing so at 6:10 I then shaved and took my shower before going out into the kitchen so as to eat my fruit with fruit dip. After a bowl of hot cereal and a piece of toast, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. After doing so, I then grabbed my things for United Wheelchair arrived shortly afterwards to bring me to therapy. Upon my arrival at for 9:00 a.m. I had put my things into my locker before meeting Dan in the gym for my P.T. Session. He first had me on the Nu Step for ten minutes. I then went on the treadmill and ran three one minute intervals at 3.8 mph. Dan then had me in the parallel bars working on my balance. At 11:00 I had gone to the arts and crafts room for expressive arts. There I had finished wrapping my heart with red yarn. At 12:00 I then went to the lunch room so as to eat. I then took a shower before my 1:00 p.m. Session. I then made my way to the arts and crafts room for literature group. Today we first went over the questions for chapter 2 before reading chapter 3. At 2:00 during my rec therapy session with Tobie we played chess. This was the first game I have ever played against a human. I usually am playing against the computer. It was fun. I really saw first hand how much of the game I really know. At 3:00 I then went to the conference room so as to type my blog entree before going home.
