Remembering all of my stretch's in P.T.
My Wednesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. After doing so, I then preceded to work my upper body using my weights. At 5:36 I then shaved before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:00 I then made my way into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit before having a bowl of hot cereal with a piece of toast. At 6:45 I had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then grabbed my lunch and my knapsack so as to meet United Wheelchair at my doorstep at 7:30. I had arrived at WestSide for 9:00 a.m. Upon doing so, I had put my things into my locker before making my way over to the gym for my P.T. session with Danielle. She had first on the Nu Step peddling on level three for ten minutes for a warm up. After going .58 miles Danielle got me a glass of water before making my way over to the Tred mill. Here is where I had done some running. It was the first time with my orthotics in my sneakers running on the treadmill. I had ran three intervals. Each one a different amount of time ranging from five to seven minutes. At 9:45 I then stretched. Remembering all of the stretch's Danielle has had me doing since I started running. Funny thing is I have not run on the treadmill in over a month and I remembered all of the stretches. It goes to show how good my long term memory is. Now if I was just told about the stretches yesterday, there is no way I would have remembered one of them. At 10:00 during my rehab session with Michelle she first had me clear all of my running programs, still with a little help of course. We then reviewed edits to my book, "Running From Lightning." We then went on the AARP Say Sharp website so as to play split words. It is a memory game. At 11:00 I then went to the conference room for Brain Injury Education. Today Michelle and Laura had us updating the board labels, information on brain injury, making letters bigger, as we redesigned it so as to stick in the lobby for other clients to refer to. At 12:00 I then went to the dinning area so as to eat my lunch. After doing so, I had taken a shower before going to Artsy Artisans Group. Today we continued to work on our projects. At 2:00 during my rehab session with Kassandra we continued to edit my book. At 3:00 everyone had left WestSide do to the bad weather ahead. It had already began to snow and I had one more hour before I was suppose to leave at 4:00. Leaving at 3:00 with it snowing out got me home at 4:30. I then went inside, got comfortable before eating dinner. I then pulled up my blog at 5:11 and began to type.
