Writing another poem, reflecting back, during the times we are going through
My Tuesday morning began at 9:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen so as to drink my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. At 9:30 I had eaten a bowl of cereal with a toasted doughnut before returning to my bedroom at 9:40 so as to brush my teeth and shave. At 10:00 I then sat down to write a poem. I titled it "A Breath of Fresh Air." During these times of covid-19 that is what we all could use. At 10:43 I then began to do my stretches that have helped me during my stroke recovery. at 11:03 I then began to do my back stretches. At 11:22 I then cycled for fifteen minutes, before returning to my bedroom so as to put some laundry away. At 11:50 I then had a sandwich for lunch. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 12:20 so as to brush my teeth, I then lied down to rest. I had slept from 12:26-3:30. I then went out on the deck to sit with my parents until 4:00. At 4:00 I then went back to my bedroom so as to take a shower. At 4:30 I then ate macaroni salad that my mother had made with my parents. Once we had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 5:00 so as to pull up my blog and type of my day.
