My Friday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by going into the kitchen, so as to drink a cup of hot cocoa while some fruit. I then had a bowl of cereal with banana in it along with a half of a toasted english muffin. Once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom at 5:52 to make my bedand brush my teeth. At 6:02 I had shaved before staring in with my back stretches. At 6:30 I then took my shower and got myself dressed, so as to get ready for the day ahead. Oh it takes me back to the days right after having my stoke when I could not preformed such simple tasks, as getting myself dressed. Once I had my eye and nose drops in and then took in two puffs of with my inhaler before leaving for the day. United Wheelchair soon pulled into my driveway and I was on my way. I had arrived at WestSide at 8:30 a.m. At 9:00 I had made my way down into the kitchen. During cooking group, Keileigh and Skylar had us making a spaghetti dish with garlic bread along with an apple bread. Once the meal was prepared, we played apples to apples while waiting for it to cook. Keileigh stayed in the kitchen while Skylar stayed in the dining area while we played games. At 10:50 we began to eat. Once we had finished eating, we then picked up before leaving at 11:30. I arrived home at 12:40. Once inside my bedroom, I put on something comfortable, brushed my teeth, and lied down to rest. I had slept from 1:00-3:38. I then took a shower, so as to get comfortable for the evening before going into the kitchen to eat captains casserole that My aunt Joan had made. A recipe my grandmother had perfected and handed it down to her. It takes me back when my family owned a furniture business and I use to work some Friday nights with my aunt late and grandmother would have Captain's Casserole waiting for us to eat. Those were the days. At 4:43 I then pulled up my blog and typed of my day.
