Feeling right at home

I began my morning as usual, STRETCHING THOSE MUSCLES! At 8:00 I then continude to fix my room with dad putting in a little more furniture to my room. I love it, It is like an efficiency appartment. At 9:30 I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine. My mother then called me from work to see If I wanted to go visited my grandmother. At 10:45 my dad took to visit my grandmother. While there I stayed for lunch. We had Italian bake chicken, sweet potato, spinach, along with a peanutbutter cup dessert. While at my grandmothers I lied down to rest at 12:45 sleeping until 2:00. About the time my mother arrived to pick me up. Once leaving my grandmothers we stopped off at the post offic and the grocery store before going home. We arrived home at 2:45. I then immediatly went to my room to do my stretch's. Once I had finished stretching I then went on face book to write to some people I had meet during my rehab at d'youville. At 5:00I then called my my visually impaired friend Tim to talk. We talk until 7:00. I then ate dinner with my parents. I then blogged and was in bed by 8:00. My first theropy tomorrow at westside is at 9:00 a.m.

  1. Hi Troy! My mother-in-law was just admitted to rehab today at - guess where? Yep - D'Youville. She's in room 216 - not too far from where you were. I think she'll be there for at least 2-3 months...having mobility problems (what? at 85!) She's been on a lot of different meds for various conditions (heart, diabetes, vision, blood pressure, tremors) that are kind of fluking with her system; plus she's had a knee replacement and has 3 tumors on her brain that aren't going to be operated on, and they are affecting her balance, as well. She likes the people there a lot. When she's discharged they have a new therapy program that she'll go home with: unlike Androscoggin, the therapists will be specifically targeting her balance. Hope she does as well as you have, although you have a few years on her - actually 4 decades! Glad you're back at Westside--great bunch!! Work hard (I know you will)--it's almost September...skiing's right around the corner!!!!!!! Take care ~ Pauline
