Talking about different types of memory

My Wednesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by setting out of bed to stretch. After doing so, I then grabbed my dumb bells and began to work my upper body. Once my workout was complete, I then took my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 7:00 I then went out into the kitchen so as to have a bowl of cereal with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating my breakfast, I then had brushed my teeth before gathering my knapsack and lunch. I then did a mindfulness practice. At 8:20 I then left for WestSide. Upon my arrival at 9:45 I had put my lunch and clothing into my locker. I then went to the conference room. We continued talking about memory strategies and going over the handout. We also discussed different types of memory. Immediate memory - this type of memory really does not last very long--perhaps minutes. Immediate memory is use when trying remember a phone number after an operator tells you. Short term memory-the ability to remember something after thirty minutes. Long term memory- Being able to recall an event that happened let's say ten years ago. Most people with a brain injury have good long term memory. At 11:00 during Brain Injury Education Group we prepared for our next upcoming presentation. I helped staple papers together so as to make packets with information to hand out. We also talked about what activities to bring. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area so as to eat lunch before taking a shower. At 1:00 I then went to the conference room for support group. Once we finished sharing, I then went home at 2:00. Upon my arrival home, at 3:10 I had gone to bed. I slept until 5:30 before getting up to eat dinner. I then called my grandmother before pulling up my blog.
