Planning for Friday's presentation in Mexico
My Wednesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing so, I had shaved and taken my shower before going out into the kitchen. After having a some fruit with my hot cocoa, I then had a banana sandwich with peanut butter for breakfast. Once I haf finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then grabbed my knapsack and lunch and out the door I went. I had arrived at Westside for 9:15. I had put my things into my locker before meeting with Dan for a focus group with another client. The focus group happens every six months to determine what therapies you what like to do. Once I was finished choosing my new therapy's I then went to the conference room for memory group. Today Michelle spoke to us about Making to do lists and how strong emotions effect memory. At 11:00 during Brain Injury Education Group, we first reviewed last Fridays presentation, one I did not attend do to my transportation forgot to pick my up. We then all chose a gift given to us for doing the presentation last week at the University of Southern Maine. I was able to chose first seems transportation forgot to pick me up. Michelle and Deb then had us plan for this fridays presentation at a middle school in Mexico. Deb and I then went to the laundry room to put the shirts for the one handed activity in the dryer to get out some of the wrinkles while the others stayed back with Michelle to put packets of information together. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area so as to eat my lunch. I then took a shower before going back to the conference room for support group. Once we had shared about our week, I had grabbed my things and went home. I had arrived home at 3:00 And once I was settled, I had gone to bed. I had slept from 3:15-5:00 before getting up. I then called my grandmother before eating dinner. After doing so, I then returned to my bedroom to as to blog of my day.
