Playing chess in Recreational Therapy
My Tuesday morning began at at 5:30 a.m. By getting out of bed so as to stretch. After doing so, I then worked my upper body before before going into the kitchen so as to drink my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. I then had a bowl of hot cereal with a piece of toast before talking my shower. Once I was ready, I then sat to wait for my ride. United had picked me up at 7:10. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:00 just in time to put my things into my locker before making my way into the gym for my counseling session with Brenda. She was filling in so we had visited Nursing things. We talked about my new medication propananol. We then discussed my headaches. At 10:00 I then made my way to the gym for my P.T. Session with Dan. He first had me on the Nu Step for ten minutes. I then went on the treadmill to do some running. I had done three one minute intervals. Dan then had me in the hallway side stepping and heel to toe. At 11:00 I then went to the craft room for expressive arts. She he commented to me right off, "Troy you look like you just finished P.T." We then started a new project. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area so as to eat my lunch before taking a shower. At 1:00 I had gone to the arts and craft room fo literature group. Laura had us reading from the book The Lion the Which and the Wardrobe. Once we we finished today's chapter she had given us our questions for the week to answer. At 2:00 During my Recreational Therapy time with Tobie, We started to play a game of chess. She had to leave half way so Carol had filled in for the second half. I had filled Carol in on how the game was played. At 3:00 I then entered my blog before going home.
