I began my Monday morning at 5:00 a.m. by stretctching my muscles. What else is new. But, if I didn't do that everyday I would be walking around stiff as a board. I then proceded by doing my weight exercises. At 6:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast. At 6:30 I then went downstairs to ride for thirty minutes. After my shower I waited for United to arrive to take my to WestSide. Upon my arrivel to WestSide for a 9:00 a.m. P.T. appointment with Amanda. Amanda first had me peddling for fifteen minutes. She then had me standing on a pad near the parallel bars while we played rummie. This allowed me to work on ballance and shifting my weight. At times I would need a brake. So I would back up and sit in the chair. After my p.t. session I went to the room across from the gym to rest. I actually fell a sleep this time. I had just enough time to eat my lunch before my next appointment. At 11:00 I then meet with Diana. During my speech session Diana and I talked about my breathing and exercises to do, to help it. I then meet with Carol who was filling in for Deb during my support session. I read to her some of the poems I had written and told her what I have been doing in my theropy. Pryor to my stroke I use to work with Carol weekly at WestSide while I was receiving rehad on my first time around. At 12:00 I had my case management session with Piper. She had asked me how my theropy was going and if there was anything that she could do for me at this time concerning my theropy. At 12:15 United then took me home. I arrived home at 1:30 thus finishing my lunch before laying down to rest. I slept from 1:40 Until 4:00 before getting up to stretch and do my weight exercises. I didn't have enough in me to ride tonight. After my shower I then ate dinner at 5:00 before sitting down to blog at 6:00. I then soon called it a day.
