No running in the halls
But that's exactly what I did, and once I started, I did not want to stop. Once I had walked for twenty-five minutes on the treadmill at 3.3 mph. I had gone 1.35 miles with no arm support. Lydia then strapped the gate belt around me I then took off running in the halls at Westside. It was the best I have done so far. It was course more like a jog but still. After running back and fourth six times it average about eighty feet. Lydia then had me back in the gym. She had set three cones on the floor. one in front of me, on the side, and one in back. She then had me standing on one leg using the other leg taping each cone with my foot. working on my coordination. Lydia then had me standing against the wall doing wall squats. I had done five of them holding each one for five seconds. What a P.T. session indeed!!! Now that I was exhausted from my P.T. session I then went to my laughter therapy group with Deb. During Laugher therapy We started by saying our names and something positive. "I RAN" We then talked about laughter. Mat, Alissa, Michelle, and I went around naming the benefits of laughter. We then then named an activity we had done that we were proud of, with Deb and Carol, YEH!!! At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch with other clients. After doing so I then had my last speech session with Carina. I had used my breathing notes during this time while walking on the treadmill in the gym. After doing So United then took me home. I was so tired Once I arrived home I went straight to bed. I had slept from 2:30-5:00 before getting up to blog. Who would not be tired after a therapy session I had today. I then sat down to blog before eating dinner, WOW!!! WHAT A DAY!
