You have been through the ringer
My Wednesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by getting out of bed to stretch. I did so for thirty minutes before grabbing my weights. Once I had finished working my upper body, I then preceded to work my legs. At 6:40 I had shaved before taking my shower. I then went out into the kitchen at 7:00 for a bowl of hot cereal and a piece of toast. Once I had eaten my fruit and drank my hot cocoa. At 7:30 I had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then went back out into the kitchen to start the dishwasher. I then grabbed my lunch and knapsack and brought them to the door. Larry from United had arrived at 8:30 to bring me to Westside. I had arrived there at 10:00. I had put my things in my locker before meeting with Brad for counseling session. After a three minute mindfulness practice, We then spoke about working on social anxiety while during group therapy. Thus working on getting me to be able to speak more in such an environment. At 11:00 I then went to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group. Florina was filling in for Deb, so Michele had us begin the group by letting Florina know a little about what we do. Michelle then brought up on the computer what myself and another client had typed for homework over the week. I then motor coordination activity and the other client did the one handed shirt activity. At 11:45 I then went to get the shirts so that Florina could try the activity. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat lunch. After doing so I had taken a shower before going to the conference room to send out some e mails. At 1:00 I then had support group. Some of the topics discussed were hunting, and snowmobiling. Then comments were made of people having seizures and strokes. Then someone had mentioned, "You have been through the ringer Troy."Do to my strokes, seizures, aneurysm, and concussion. I have experienced quite a bit of brain injury indeed. At 2:00 I then met with the nurse. Brenda had taken my blood pressure we then discussed medical issues. At 2:30 Larry then took me home. I had arrived home at 3:50 and went strait to bed. I had slept until 5:15 before getting up. I then ate dinner before brushing my teeth and called my grandmother and spoke to some friends before calling it a day.
