Playing chess with Dan
My Tuesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. After doing so, I then worked my upper body. At 6:15 I then shaved before taking a shower. Once I was ready, I had gone into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. After a bowl of cereal with a piece of toast, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. At 7:12 I then sat to wait for my ride. Bruce from United Wheelchair had arrived at 7:45 to bring me to WestSide. We had picked up another client along the way. Upon my arrival to WestSide at 9:00, I had put my lunch into my locker before meeting with Leeor. Once we had finished talking, I then met with Dan for a rehab session. Usually with do P.T. things, but since the fall I had in the bathroom at WestSide a couple of weeks ago they have been having me lay low from the exercises. Dan and I played a game of chess. We ended up in a tie before we ran out of time. We each had a pawn, Queen, and our king left. "GREAT GAME!" At 11:00 during Expressive Arts group, Michelle had us cut out material so as to be modge podged to a bowl. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area so as to eat my lunch. At 1:00 I then went to the arts and crafts room for literature group. Today we read chapter 14 in the lion and the which and the wardrobe. We then answered questions and talked about the vocabulary. At 1:00 during Recreational Therapy with Tonie we talked about a get together with some old friends I had when I lived on my own in Auburn that I use to hang out with. At 3:00 Bob then took me home. I had arrived home at 4:00. Once inside I had taken a shower. I then ate dinner before typing my blog.
