Trip to St. Mary's Hospital E.R.
My Tuesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. After doing so, I then had taken my shower at 6:00 thus getting ready for my day. At 6:30 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After a bowl of cereal and half english muffin, I had brushed my teeth. At 7:30 United Wheelchair had picked me up. Upon my arrival to WestSide I had met with Leeor so as to talk during my counseling session. At 10:00 I had made my way to the gym for my P.T. session with Lori. I first did twenty minutes on the Nu Step before doing some standing exercises in the parallel bars. Lori then had me do Hip Flexion and Hip Extension. At 11:00 I then made my way to the arts and crafts room for expressive arts with Michelle. Today I had cut out my wreath from card board. I then painted it. Next week I will be placing the flowers on. I then went to the kitchen so as to eat my lunch at noon. At 12:30 I had gone into the bathroom, and as I was doing so, my legs gave out. I had fallen to the floor and hit the top of my head on the toilet, thus causing a bump or two. and a bump on the right side of my cheek. The fall was heard and therapist came running. 911 was then called. United Ambulance soon arrived. Paramedics strapped me to a stretcher and took me to St. Mary's Hospital E.R. Once I was in the room a nurse on duty had asked me questions about my medications and took my blood pressure and temperature. Coincidence she happen to be the same nurse on duty the last time I was in the E.R. not to long ago. I was taken to have a C.A.T. scan. In the mean time my father had arrived so as to bring me home. At 4:30 I was soon discharged and my father then took me home. I arrived home at 5:45. After carefully taking a shower, I had eaten a little more before calling United Wheelchair to cancel my ride to WestSide tomorrow. I then typed in my blog entry for today before going to bed.
