Starting to learn how to use my white cane again

My Monday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. I then began to stretch. Once I had finished doing the stretches that have helped me after my latest stroke, I then began to do my back stretches. At 5:34 I then had shaved before taking my shower. Once I was ready, I had gone into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit dipped in yougurt while drinking my. Hot cocoa. I then had a bowl of hot cereal with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in some eye and nose drops before taking in some air. I then waited for United Wheelchair to arrived. Upon my arrival to WestSide for 9:00 a.m. I had gone to the conference room for news letter group. Today we looked at fun facts about Maine to put in the news letter with Ashly. At 10:00 I then played a game of cribbage with Ashly during a rehab session from 10:00-11:00. At 11:00 During ansestorial group, I continued to look up my family tree with Jessica. At 12:00 I then had eaten my lunch in the lobby. At 1:00 I had meet with Kaylyn from the Devision from the Blind. We had gone to an empty room inside WestSide. We spoke about me using a white cane again. She then had asked me to bring in the white cane that I used to use before having my last stroke in 2011. She then had me in the hall ways at WestSide practicing using the new white cane that I will be eventually getting the next time we meet, with a white ball on the end to roll and not just a tip to tap. Once I had finished meeting with Katlyn, Steven my case manager at WestSide pulled me aside to talk to me about some accomodations that I will be needing to let Katlyn know about when I am working with her. 1. Indurance 2. Time to use memory strategies after each session with her. 3? Light and noise sensitivity. I will not make progress in a loud and stimulating invironment. At 2:15 I then went to the client lounge so as to twate for another client to go home. Ihad left for home at 3:00. I had slept most of the way. At 4:00 I had arrived home. Once I had taken a shower, I then pulled up my blog so as to type of my day.
