My Monday morning began at 8:40 a.m. by going into the kitchen to drink a hot cup of cider while eating my fruit. At 8:50 I then had a piece of french toast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 9:11 so as to brush my teeth and shave. At 9:37 I then made my bed before getting dressed for the day. At 9:45 my sister had called to let us know that she and my aunt would be here at 10:00 a.m. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in a puff of air with each inhaler. aT 10:00 I then began to do my stretches that I have been doing since having my last stroke. After doing so at 10:15 my cousin Mark had called me on messenger. We spoke while I was waiting for my sister and aunt to arrive. He let me know that he would be getting K.A.F.O.'s for each of his legs to help him walk. It stands for Knee Ankle Foot Orthotic. Do to his sids disease his body is crippling. I now consider myself lucky. I only have to wear an A.F.O. on my right leg after having my last stroke. Ankle Foot Orthotic. He let me know he has to wear braces on his hands to prevent his fingers from going backwards. He also let me know that his shoulders pop every now and then too. On the up side of things, he let ne know that he had his second covid-19 shot. At 10:40 my sister and aunt arrived, so I let my cousin Mark go and said that I would messenger him later. I am still a little nervous to be around others because I have not had my second shot yet. They came into the house for ten minutes and then were on there way. After a quick visit they were on their way at 11:17. I then had a bowl of soup before returning to my bedroom at 12:10 to brush my teeth and lay down to rest. I had slept until 3:00 before waking. Once I had taken a shower, I then played a hame of cribbage with my mother before eating dinner. At 4:30 I then returned to my bedroom to pull up my blog and type of my day.
