New Years Eve

 My New Years Eve Day began this morning at 11:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen, so as to eat some fruit while drinking the hot cocoa and the new mug that I received from WestSide from the Christmas party. I then had some some blueberry pancakes for breakfast. At 11:36 I then returned to my bedroom to make my bed. At 11:40 I then brushed my teeth and shaved. After doing so, I had put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 12:15 I then tried on the new clothing that I had received for Christmas. At 12:30 I then filled my empty pill containers. At 12:40 I then began to do my back stretches. After doing so, I then did my stretches that I have been doing since haveing my stroke. At 1:13 I then had a piece of celery with peanut butter in it. At 1:30 I then went on facebook and found out that a friend of mines sister had past away today. At 2:18 I then took an aspirin for a headache that I was having. At 2:20 I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 2:26-4:00. Once I had taken a shower and was comfortable for the night, I then went into the kitchen to eat a New Years Eve dinner with my parents. At 5:30 I had returned to my bedroom to pull up my blog and type of my day.

 My Thursday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen so as to eat my fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I had an egg cup with ham sandwich. At 6:30 I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth and shave. After doing so, I then took a shower and got ready for the day ahead. At 7:27 I then put an ice pack on my back until 8:30. I then did some reading while waiting for United Wheelchair to arrive. I arrived at WestSide at 11:00 a.m. Little did I know that I would be receiving some news that I would not want. Someone at WestSide had contracted the covid-19 virus. I was not told who, staff or client, but thankfully I have had all of my three shots for covid and where a mask daily from the time I leave the house, until I get home. I then went to the conference room for cribbage group with Dan. I had won the first game against a client that I was playing against but we did not have time to finish the second game. At 12:00 I then ate lunch in the lobby. At 1:00 I had gone to the gym for my P.T. session with Dan. Dan first had me in the parallel bars stepping up onto the bosu ball not holding on. He then had me put my feet put close together not holding on to the bars. At 2:00 I then went to the lobby to meet the United driver who would be taking me home. I had arrived home at 3:00 Once inside, I had gone to my bedroom to take a shower and get comfortable for the evening. At 3:40 I then pulled up my blog and typed of my dady.  

WOW!!! WHAT A CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!

 My Wednesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen to drink my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. I then had peanut butter and honey on a toasted english muffin. At 6:30 I then returned to my bedroom at 6:30  to brush my teeth. At 6:45 I began to do my back stretches. At 7:00 I then took my shaved and took my shower, so as to get ready for the day ahead. I had put on something Christmasy, because today was the day of our Christmas Party. Our previous one was cancelled do to snow. Once I had put in my eye and nose drops, I had taken in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 8:30 Buzzy from United Wheelchair had arrived to take me to Goodwill Neuro Rehab.  I had arrived at Goodwill at 9:30. I had sat in the lobby briefly with other clients waiting to go into the conference for the Christmas party special event. Upon my arrival kala gave me my schedule for next week. Our first activity was making Christmas Cookies. Once we finished rolling out our ball of dough, we then cut out our cookies. At 10:45 we were then given a packet of crossword puzzles, word searches, and word scrambles to do. At 11:00. we had make snow globes. At 11:30 we then took a break before doing some Christmas trivia with Keileigh. At 12:00 we then ate lunch. We had ham, mashed potato's, mixed vegetables, and squash. While we were eating, we had watched the movie, "The Polar Express." While doing so, we drank hot chocolate. At 1:30 We then decorated our cookies. At 2:00 we unwrapped a foiled ball with all kinds of gifts in inside each wrap. You were only given a minute to get to a gift. I won three gifts. At. 3:00 the party ended and we went home. I arrived home at 4:00 took a shower, ate my dinner, and blog of my day. 

I finally won a game

 My Tuesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by making my bed. At 6:05 I began at to my back stretches. After doing so, I continued with my stroke stretches. At 7:00 I had gone into the kitchen to eat some fruit while drinking a cup of hot cocoa. At 7:10 I then fixed myself a bowl of granola with banana with a piece of chocolate bread. At 7:30 I then returned to my bedroom to shave and brush my teeth. At 7:45 I had taken a shower, so as to get ready for the day ahead. Once I was dressed and ready to go. I had put in my eye and nose drops. I then took in two puffs of air with my inhaler before cleaning my bathroom. at 8:20 I then made my move in words with friends. At 8:24 I then put an ice pack on my back for twenty minutes. I then waited for United Wheelchair to arrive. It did so at 9:15. I had arrived at WestSide at 10:40. Upon doing so, while sitting in the games room waiting for chess group to begin, I talked with John and Dan, as the they passed by. I then set up a chess board. Laura then came in with the other two clients who were in the group. I won one game and the client that I was playing against one a game. Keileigh had nothing going on, so she played the other client. At 12:45 I finally was on my way home, after waiting for fifteen minutes in the lobby. I had arrived home at 2:00. I went strait to my bedroom to get comfortable and drink a premier protein drink. I then brushed my teeth and to a purr of my rescue inhaler before laying  down to rest. I had lied down to rest at 2:15 and slept until slept until 4:00. Once I was up, I then took a shower before eating dinner. I then returned to my bedroom at 5:00 to blog of my day. 

Picking things up the day after Christmas

 My Monday morning began at 7:30 a.m. I had gone into the kitchen so as to eat breakfast with my family. After doing so, at 7:40 I then said good-bye to my sister Barbara, as she was going back home today to Scarborough. At 8:00 I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 8:17 I began to make my bed. After doing so, I had put the Christmas decorations that I had in my bedroom away until next year. At 8:30 I then took down my Christmas cards that people had sent to me over the Christmas season. At 8:56 I had taken out all of my medication to fill my empty pill containers. At 9;20 I then ordered a script that I was running low on. After doing so, I the cleaned my bathroom. At 10:30 I then sat down to read an article. At 10:31 I had helped my mother take a wreath down hanging over the fireplace in the formal living room. At 10:35 i then washed my water bottle and filled it with ice and fresh water. At 10:45 I continued to read the article that I was reading. At 11:07 I then put an ice pack on my back. At 11:18 I then did my back stretches, before putting some laundry away. At 11:40 I then snacked on some nuts before doing my stretches that I have been doing since my last stroke. I then went into the kitchen to make myself half of a sandwich to eat with some kayla and a glass of eggnog. At 12:25 I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 12:30-3:30. Once I had shaved and taken a shower, I then went into the kitchen at 4:10 to eat a salad and some lasagna for dinner. At 5:00 I then returned to my bedroom to pull up my blog and type of my day.

My Sunday morning began, on this day after Christmas at 8:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa with my family. After doing so, I then had an egg cup with ham with a piece of strawberry bread. Once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom at 8:25 to brush my teeth . at 8:35 I then shaved before making my bed. At 8:50 I had taken my shower so as to get ready for the day ahead. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. I then began to do my back stretches while waiting to leave. At 9:19 I then watched Sunday mass online. At 9:50 I had left the house with my mother. She had dropped me off at the Pierce house at 9:20 so that I could visit with my grandmother. I visited with her while my sister and mother were in church. While I was there the Nurse had come in to give my grandmother her weekly exam. At 11:45 My mother and sister had arrived. My mother had given me and my grandmother our communion. We then left shortly after that. We had arrived home at 12:38. Once I had put on something comfortable, I then had a bite to eat at 12:40. At 12:56 I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 1:00-4:00. I  then went into the kitchen to sit and have odderves. At 4:25 I then took a shower so as to get comfortable for the night. At 4:40 I then pulled up my blog and typed of my day.   

Merry Christmas

 My Christmas morning began at 8:15 a.m. by making my bed. At 8:20 I then went into the kitchen with my mother, father , aunt Joan, my sister Barbara and Quinny. I had drank my hot cocoa while eating some fruit while others drank coffee. At 6:40 I then returned to my bedroom to take a shower and shave so as to get dressed and get ready for the day ahead. At 7:00 I then did my back stretches. At 7:30 I focussed on taking pictures while everyone was moving around. At 9:00 we all sat in the formal living room by the Christmas tree. As we were doing so, I continued to take pictures. At 9:30 my parents, aunt, sister, Quinny and I ate breakfast. Once I had brushed my teeth and put in my eye and nose drops and inhaled two puffs of my inhaler, my aunt Joan, my sister Barbara and I went to the Pierce House to visit my grandmother. We arrived at the Pierce House at 10:10. Once inside my grandmothers room we sat and talked with her until 11:38. We then said good-bye. We arrived home at 11:45. We then all gathered in the formal living room by the Christmas Tree to open gifts. At 12:15 we then took a break while drinking an ice cram soda while my father and Quinny brought up my armour from downstairs to put in my bedroom. At 12:50 we began to open gifts. At 1:12 we then took a brake to organize what gifts we had opened, we then started at 1:15 to open again. At 1:32 we had taken another brake. At 1:54we then began to open more gifts. At 2:50 I then went to bed and slept until 5:10. Once I had taken a shower, At 5:30 I then began to blog. At 5:55 I then went into the kitchen to eat lasagna salad, and garlic bread for dinner. We then picked names as to who was going to stuff the person sock next year. I picked my mother and my sister picked my father. How ironic. fifty dollar limit. We then opened our one gift at the table. At 6:30 I then went to my bedroom to blog of my Christmas day.
