Discussing an upcoming presentation during BIE Group
My Wednesday morning began on this ninth day of September at 5:30 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing so I had taken my shower and shaved before going out into the kitchen to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. I then had an egg sandwich for breakfast. At 7:50 I had then brushed my teeth. After doing so I had grabbed my knapsack and lunch, out the door I went. United Wheelchair had me at the doorstep of WestSide at 9:30. I had met with Brad for a counseling session. After a mindfulness practice, I had then brought my things to my locker. At 10:00 I had then met with Laura for a rehab session. All of my physical activity has been put on hold until my medication is given a chance to start working in my body, so as not to have any more seizures. Laura and I then called the pharmacy so as to order my script. They said I will have enough last until Friday. I then called my mother to let her know to go to the pharmacy to pick up the medication. I then showed laura my story and my pintrist. At 11:00 I then went to the conference room for Brain Injury Awareness Group. We discussed how there is a hearing/forum next Thursday in Augusta. Only a chosen few were selected to go. We then discussed our upcoming presentation at Westside. We will be talking on Thursday September 21 in front of new clients about the program. At 12:00 I then went to eat lunch in the dining area. After doing so, I then took a shower before going to the conference room for support group. Today quote being discussed was,"Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new beginning." At 2:00 I then met with Susan for speech. Today we spoke about Gutenburge and how he invented the printing press. As I read, I had taken notes, so as to put what was read in my own words. At 3:00 I then had a support session with Deb. Deb and I looked at pintrist. At 3:38 Roger then took me home. I had arrived home at 4:50, thus sitting down to blog as soon as I was inside.
