Finishing an articl before staring another

My Monday Morning bean at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. After doing so, I then shave before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I then had a bowl of cereal with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth.  I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. United Wheelchair had arrived at 8:00 a.m. to take me to WestSide. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:00 a.m. I had taken a WestSide Story as I saw it there in the lobby. At 9:30 I then went to the conference room newspaper group. Today Ashly and Jes had us working on our articles. I had finished my artical on Memorial Day and then e-mailed it to Jessica. I then began an article on Cynco Demayo. At 12:00 I then met my ride in the lobby. At 11:00 I then stayed in the conference room so Bullet Journel Group. I had finished my page on spring before leaving at 12:00. I had arrived home at 1:15. Once I had something comfortable on before brushing my teeth. I then lay down to rest after doing so. I had slept From 1:30-4:45. I then had eaten dinner before returning to my bedroom so as to type in my blog entry.

The trip back home

My Sunday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by taking my seizure medication. Ithen went back to sleep until 8:30. I had taken my shower before packing things up to go. My father and I then left my sisters at 9:09. We had stopped to eat breakfast at a diner nearby before continuing our journey to Auburn. We had arrived at my Aunts, where my mother had spent the night with my sister. We stayed briefly before leaving at 11:30. We had arrived home at 12:40. Once the car was unpacked, I then went to my bedroom so as to put things away. At 1:00 I then filled my empty pill containers up for the week ahead. At 1:30 I then had a bite to eat. I then went to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I did so until 4:35. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat a Lght meal before putting some clean laundry away. I then brushed my teeth before stretching from 5:18-5:20. At 5:50 I had taken a shower before pulling up my blog.

Spending the night at my sister’s with my father

My Saturday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by getting up so as to take my seizure medication. I then put on my splint on before laying back down for thirty minutes. I then took my splint off before getting up so as to work on my book. At 7:37 I then put my splint back on and went back to bed at 7:37. At 8:00 I then took my splint off before going out into the kitchen to have some fruit with fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I then had some panacakes before returning to my bedroom at 8:30. So as to brush my teeth and shave. At 8:45 I then took the sheets off my bed and then put clean ones on thus making it. At 8:53 I then began to stretch. Fisrt my stroke stretch”s then my back. At 9:24 I then filled my empty pill containers. At 9:30 I then took my shower so as to get ready for the rest of my day. Once I was ready, I had called the pharmacy so as to order my medication. After doing so I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 11:00 I then listened to my book while waiting to leave. At 12:40 I then had a quick bite to eat before leaving the house with my parents. My father and I had dropped my mother off at my aunts in Auburn before continuing our way to Scarborough to stay at my sisters while she and my mother spend time with our aunt. We had arrived at my sister’s at 4:00. We then went out to eat before returning back to my sisters. 5:50. I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.

Leaning a new stretch during P.T.

My Friday morning bang at 4:55 a.m. by putting my splint on. I then crawled back into bed to let it work its magic. At 8:18 I then got up, taking my brace off before setting my feet on the floor. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat my some fruit with fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. At 8:35 I had fixed myself a bowl of cereal to go along with my toasted half bagel. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. And shave. At 9:15 I then called lagistacare, the company that takes care of transportation to medical appointments to set up my ride for the weeks ahead for my P.T. Sessions with John. At 9:50 I then began to stretch. While doing, I had spoken to my grandmother on the telephone. At 10:00 I then listened to my book. As I was listening, I continued to stretch my back with the stretch’s I received from the chiropractor. I then preceded with my stroke stretch’s. At 10:30 I had finished my workout. Upon doing so, I had taken a shower, thus getting ready for the rest of my day. At 12:00 I had watched the local news at noon before eating my lunch at 12:45. At 1:00 I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept until 1:30 Before waking. I then washed my face and brushed my teeth before meeting United Wheelchair in the driveway so as to bring me to physical therapy. I had arrived there at 2:10. Today John had me first cycling for ten minutes before going into the parallel bars. He then put ankle weights on my legs. I then did different types of leg, ankle, and toe exercises. At 3:20 April picked me up and took me home. I had arrived home at 3:35. Once inside, I had packed some things for the weekend. I then filled my empty pill containers. At 4:30 I then ate dinner before pulling up my blog.

Finishing up my model

My Thursday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. After my thirty minute workout, I then shaved before taking my shower while drinking my hot cocoa. Once I was ready fro the day ahead, I then went into the kitchen at 6:20 so as to eat some fruit before having pancakes fro breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. After doing so, I then had put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 7:00 I then put on my splint while sitting in my recliner to read. At 7:50 I then took out my medication so as to fill my empty pill containers. At 8:13 I then called United Wheelchair so as to see what time I am being picked up tomorrow to go to P.T. 2:00 P.M. pick up. At 8:50 United Wheelchiar had arrived to bring me to WestSide. I had arrived at 9:35. During my rehab session with Kala, she had helped me take pics from my photoa’s apt and put them in my book. At 11:00 during my rehab session with Jamie we continued to put my model together that we started Tuesday. At 12:00 I then met my United driver in the lobby. I had arrived home at 1:15 I had arrived home. Once inside I had eaten my lunch. I then retained to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept 1:45-4:30 before waking. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat dinner. I then returned to my bedroom so as to take a shower before pulling up my blog.

Letting Steven know that I want to keep things the way They are, during my case management session

My Wednesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. I had first stretch my back before starting in with my stroke stretch’s. At 6:00 I then shaved before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:25 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. I then had a bowl of cereal with my toasted half of a bagel. At 6:45 I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking a puff of my inhaler. At 7:04 I then finished the last twenty minutes of my latest talking book. I then began to read while waiting for United Wheelchair to arrive. Upon my arrival to WestSide, I had sat in the lobby waiting to go to Visually Impaired Group. At 9:00 I then went into the conference room. During Visually Imapired I had showed the group my book which by the way has seventy pages in it so far. I am anxious to get it published, but who knows when that will be. We then discussed with Nancy what direction visually impaired group should take from hear. At 11:00 I then went to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group. Today Michelle had us first review last week. She then let us know that a new client will be joining the group. We then talked about an upcoming presentation Friday May 25th at Mountain Valley Middle School. We then played mind your marbles. At 12:00 during my case management session with Stephen, I had let him know that I would like to keep my schedule the way it is for now and not to make any changes. At 12:15 I then met my United Wheelchair Driver in the lobby. I then went home. Upon my arrival home at 1:20 I had eaten my lunch before resting from 2:00-2:30. My mother then took me to the chiropractors. Upon my arrival to Dr. Robert’s office, I filled out the forms on the computer before having my back adjustment. I had arrived home at 2:50. Upon my arrival home, Ihad taken a shower before sitting down to read. At 4:00 I had spoken to my grandmother while wearing my splint. I then continued to read until 4:48. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat dinner. At 5:36 I then pulled up my blog and began to type.

Making a model plane during rec therapy

My Tuesday morning I began at 4:30 a.m. by putting on my splint. I lay there in bed for an hour before taking it off. I then made my bed at 5:30 before starting in with my stroke stretch’s. I then preceded with my back stretch’s. At 6:10 I then went into my bathroom so as to shave before taking a shower thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:45 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. At 7:00 I then had pancakes before returning to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air with my inhaler. At 7:30 I then put my splint on while reading my book. United Wheelchiar had arrived at 8:00 a.m. so as to transport me to WestSide. Upon my arrival, I had sat in the lobby for an hour waiting for my first session at 10:00. Today during my rec therapy session, Jamie had filled in for Tobie while she was on vacation. I had brought in on of the three models my sister had bought me. Once I had it unpackaged I then put the model plane together. I then began to paint it before putting on the decals. At 11:00 I had made my way to the arts and crafts room where I had met Michelle and two others. Today we took our rolled sheets of paper and glued them onto a wired rack to make a wreath. At 12:00 I then left to go home. I had arrived home at 1:15. Once inside, I had eaten a sandwich for lunch my mother had ready for me. I then brushed my teeth and got ready to go to Physical Therapy. At 2:00 My mother then took over to Franklin Memorial Hospital for P.T. It is not in the hospital but in the area of Franklin Commons. At 2:30 John first went over my medications with me. After my stay at Maine Medical Center he wanted to update his list. John then gave me a P.T. Evaluation. He does not think that I need to were a brace for support. Matter of fact, he thinks that I have improved since my stay in the hospital. Once my session was finished, I had checked out receiving a new schedule of p.t. Sessions for nine weeks. At 3:30 my father took me home. Upon my arrival home at 4:00 I had. Taken a shower before eating dinner. I then pulled up my blog and typed of my day.

Better late then never

My Monday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. After loosening my body, At 6:00 I then shaved before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:30 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. I then had some pancakes. At 6:48 I then brushed my teeth before putting in my eye and nose drops. I then took in some air before putting on my splint. I kept it on for fourty-five minutes while sitting in my recliner reading. At 7:45 I then took off my splint before putting away some clean laundry. It started to get late and my ride had not shown. I called United Wheelchiar to see when I would be picked up. My finally arrived at 9:00. I had to be at therapy at 9:30. There was no way I was going to make it there in thirty minutes. I finally walked throught the doors at 10:15. I had forty-five minutes left of a ninety minute newsletter group. I pulled out my I pad and started taking notes on the topic Memorial Day so as to write an article. At 11:00 I then had Bullet Journel Group. Today Jes had me making a welcome to spring page. At 12:00 I then met my United Driver in the lobby. I had arrived home at 1:10. I had gone inside to eat lunch before laying down to rest. I had slept from 1:30-4:30 after I had brushed my teeth. I then took a shower before going into the kitchen so as to eat my dinner. At 5:30 I then returned to my bedroom so as to type in today’s blog entry.

Cribbage with my grandmother

My Sunday morning began at 3:12 a.m. by putting on my splint. I then fell back to sleep until 5:50 before waking to take my splint off. I then took my seizure medication before watching some news. At 6:30 I then watched Sunday Mass on television. Once mass had ended, I then fell back to sleep. I slept from 7:00-8:15. I then had made my bed before going into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking hot cocao. I then had an egg sandwich. At 8:00 I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth and shaved. At 9:00 I then began to stretch. First my back then my stroke stretch’s. At 9:30 I then took my shower thus getting ready for the day. I had put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 10:00 I had left the house with my mother. She had dropped me off at my grandmother’s on her way to church. Once inside her room she and I began to play cribbage and talk about the week and other things going on. At 11:40 my mother had arrived after mass, thus giving my grandmother and I communion. At 11:45 we had left my grandmother’s. We had stopped at the grocery store on the way home. I sat in the car so as to call my sister while my mother shopped. At 12:07 we had left Hanaford. Upon my arrival home, I had eaten lunch before going for a walk. My mother had brought me to a neighborhood down the street from where we live with less traffic than the road we live on. I had walked for an hour before calling my mother hat 2:00. I then went home to rest. I had slept from 2:07-4:30. I then read my book. At 4:40 I then took a shower before eating dinner. At 5:25 I then pulled up my blog and began to type.

A trip to Augusta with my father

My Saturday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by taking my medication that is now currently helping to prevent me from having a seizure. After doing so, I then put my splint on before going back to bed. I had slept until 8:45 before going into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I then had some pancakes fro breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth and shave. At 9:38 I then made my bed before stretching. As I was doing so, I had listened to my book. At 10:04 I then had taken a shower before leaving with my father at 10:35. He and I had taken a ride to Augusta to look at covers for boats. At 12:15 we had left the boat shop and went home. Along the way, home, once we arrived in the town in wich we live and my parents work my father and I stopped at the shop so that he could give me a haircut. At 1:30 we had left the shop for home. At 1:45 we arrived. I had gone strait to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then layed down to rest. I had slept from 2:00-5:15. I then gone into the kitchen so as to eat dinner. At 5:50 I then spoke to my grandmother. I then took some pictures of cribbage board collage to put in my book. After doing so, I then pulled up my blog before calling it a day.

Reading

My Friday morning began at 5:40 a.m. by taking my medication so as to help prevent a siezure, so far it seems to be working since I left Maine Medical Center two weeks ago. I have only had one seizure since I arrived back home. After taking my medication, I then put my splint on and went back to bed. I had slept until 8:00 before waking. I then took my splint off. I had layed in bed until 9:30 reading a book. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. I then had a bowl of cereal with a toasted bagel. At 10:00 I then picked up the kitchen before starting the dishwasher. At 10:10 I then returned to my bedroom at 10:10 so as to brush my teeth and shave. I then made my bed after doing before putting in my eye and nose drops. Once I had taken in some air with my inhaler, I then cycled for fifteen minutes. At 10:45 I then began to stretch. While listening to a book. At 11:30 I then emptied the dishwasher. As I was doing so my mother had arrived home from work. I had helped her in with some things as best I could. At 12:00 I then had a bite to eat. I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept until 2:40. I then did some reading for an hour before getting up. I then went into othe kitchen so as to eat dinner at 4:30, before returning to my bedroom so as to take a shower. At 5:30 I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.

Copy and paste

My Thursday morning began at 5:15 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, I then began to stretch. I first focused on loosening up my muscles with my strokes stretch’s before focusing on my back. At 6:00 I then shaved before taking my shower while drinking my hot cocao. At 6:30 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip. After doing so, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth, I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 7:00 I then put my splint on before sitting down to read. I did so until 8:00 before taking my splint off. At 8:30 Lou from United Wheelchiar had arrived to transport me to WestSide Neuro rehab. I had arrived at 9:45. I had gone to an empty room while waiting for my rehab session with Nancy. I then made my way to her office. The noise in the lobby is just to much. Nancy had helped me during this time copy and paste a photo into my book about the chapter I had recently written on my stay at Maine Medical Center. We then figured out how many words I had and how many characters with a push of a button. At 12:00 Lou from United Wheelchair had brought me home. I had arrived home at 1:00. Once inside   I had eaten my lunch. I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 1:30-4:40 before waking. At 5:15. Once I had taken a shower, I then sat down to type into today’s blog entry.

Transparency sheets

My Wednesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to do my back stretch’s. After doing so, I continued stretching with with the stretch’s that have helped over time heal from my third stroke. At 5:40 I then shaved before taking a shower. Once I was ready, I had gone into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with my cocao. After doing so, I had bowl of cream of wheat with a piece of toast. At 6:20 I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking is some air. Once I was completely ready, I then put some clean laundry away. At 6:45 I then put my splint on while waiting for United Wheelcahair to arrive. I then filled my medication for he week before ordering some medication. At 7:45 I then left the house. I had arrived at 9:00 a.m. Upon doing so, I then went to the conference room for visually impaired group. During visually impaired group today Laurie had talked to us about transparency folders to help reading a paper easier by striving the paper in the folder. I had mentioned my magnifier that I use at home to read recipe’s. Laurie wants me to bring it in next week. At 10:00 during my rehab session with Michelle, she had helped me copy and paste information from my blog during my stay at Maine Medical Center. At 11:00 I had gone to the conference room for  Brain Injury Education Group. Today we had planned presentations with Michelle. At 12:00 I then went into the lobby to meet my driver. Upon my arrival home, I had eaten my lunch before returning to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then layed Down to rest. I had slept from 1:30-4:40. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat dinner before taking a shower. I then pulled up my blot at 5:30 and began to type.

“Making Sence out of Suffering” by Peter Kreeft

My Tuesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. Once I had loosened my body, I then did my back stretch’s. At 6:00 I then shaved before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. Once I was ready, I then put in my eye drops. At 6:30 I then had gone into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocao. I then put peanut butter and honey on a toasted bagel for breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom at 6:50, so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my nose drops before taking in some air. Once my bathroom was cleaned, I then put my splint on. While sitting there, I had listened to my book. I had taken my splint off at 7:40, thus getting ready to leave. I had arrived at WestSide at.  9:00 a.m. I had sat in the lobby waiting to meet with Clark. I had then soon gone into his office at 9:15. We had gone over the book, “Making Sence Out of Suffering.” By Peter Kreeft. Tonight will be my first night in trying to understand why, as I start to read. At 10:00 during my recreational therapy session with Tobie, she had first let me know that she would be on vacation next week and that I would be having coverage. She then told me to bring in one of the models next week that my sister gave me for my birthday. She then had me fill out a focus group survey. This is where we fill out a paper of the goals we would like to work on for the next six months and therapy’s we would like to do in help reach those goals. By bringing in a model they will enlarge the instructions for me, help me to label pieces, check for materials, glue etc. If time allowed I will start the project before taking it home. At 11:00 I had gone to the craft room for Expressive Arts Group. Today Michelle had us gluing our rolled paper to the wired wreaths so as to make a wreath. Michelle had been working on mine while I was in the hospital. At 12:00 I had meet my United Wheelchair driver in the lobby. I had arrived home at 1:15. Once I had eaten my lunch, I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I slept from 1:34-4:00. I then read the opening chapter in the book “Making Sence Out Of Suffering.” At 4:30 I then took a shower before eating dinner. At 5:00 I then pulled up my blog.

Continuing a prompt

My Monday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. Once I had completed my routine of back and stretch’s from having a stroke, I then started to get ready for my day ahead at 6:00. Once I had shaved and taken my shower, I then put in my eye and nose drops. Once I had taken in some air, I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocao. I then had scrambled eggs with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. At 7:00 I then cleaned my bathroom. At 7:20 I then put my splint on while I was waiting for United Wheelchiar to arrive. I had arrived to WestSide at 9:15. I then made my way to the conference room . During newspaper group Kala had us.  Looking up on line holiday’s that happen in the month of April and May so as to get some Ideas to write about. At 11:00 during bullet journal group, I was given a prompt, “Someone walks by your table and drops a folded napkin Trying to be discreet. It is a note saying, “GET OUT NOW!” While you can. I hesitate before making a move. I pick up a menu and bury my face in its louciouse inventory of desserts selection. As my mouth begins to water, I follow the trail of noodles dropped from the plate held by the waiter who had dropped the napkin. I had followed him write into the kitchen. We had struck up a conversation and before you know it we were making a spaghetti sauce for a party of ten. Nancy then gave me a Mandela to color. At 12:00 I then left to go home. I had arrived home at 1:10. Once I had eaten my lunch, I had brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept until 4:00 before waking. At 4:30 I then took a shower before pulling up my blog.

Talking with my Aunt Joan

My Sunday morning began at 3:15 a.m. by putting my splint on. I then lay there in bed trying to go back to sleep, no luck in doing so. At 5:00 I then took off my splint. At 6:00 I then took my medication before watching the news. At 6:30 I then watched the Sunday Mass on television. At 7:00 I then fell back to sleep until 8:45. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I had a bowl of cereal with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth and shave. At 9:30 I then did my stretch’s since having my stroke. At 10:00 I then filled my empty pill containers. At 10:07 I then did my back stretch’s. At 10:20 I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 10:24 I then countinued doing my back stretch’s ‘til 10:40. I then made my move in words with friends. At 11:00 I then sent out an e mail. At 12:00 I had eaten my lunch. After doing so, I had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest at 12:30. I had slept for three hours before waking. I then talked with my Aunt Joan who is here visiting. At 4:10 my mother had given me communion. At 4:18 I then transferred my notes into my new note pad from my old one. At 5:45 I then had a bowl of pea soup for dinner. At 6:00 I had taken a shower before pullling up my blog so as to type in today’s entry.

Loratadine

My Saturday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by taking my medication to help control seizures. I then pout my splint on before going back to bed. I had slept until 8:15 before taking my splint off. At 9:00 I then went into the kitchen so as to drink my hot cocoa. I then had a bowl of oatmeal with a toasted bagel. At 9:30 I then had brushed my teeth before resting for thirty minutes. At 10:00 I had gone for a walk. I had walked 2.37 miles according to my fit bit before returning home. At 11:02 I had returned home. I then went into my bedroom so as to do my back stretch’s. I then had shaved before starting in with my the stretching that I have been since my stroke. At 11:35 I then had taken a shower. After doing so, I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 12:00 I then had a bite to eat. At 12:20 I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept from 12:30-3:40. I then got up. My mother had asked me about an allergy medication that I am taking Loratadine. My doctor had called. I thenspoke to a friend who had called. I then pulled up my blog at 4:30 so as to type of my day.

Friday the 13th

My Friday morning began at 2:55 a.m. by putting on my splint. I had laid there in bed letting it work its magic, as I tried to go back to sleep. At 4:40 I then finally took off my splint. I then tuned on the news waiting for the 6:00 a.m. hour so that I could take my morning medication. I then went back to sleep. At 7:46 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. I then toasted half of a bagel and put cream cheese out it. I did not eat to much because I was to go out to lunch with my mother, sister, and grandmother. At 8:15 once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth and shave. At 8:40 I then made my bed before starting in with my stretching routine. At 8:15 I had written a thank you card before listening to my book. At 9:00 I had gone for a little walK. Upon my retunrn home, I went strait to my bedroom so as to fill my empty pill containers. I then called the pharmacy to order my script. At 10:15 I then took a shower thus getting ready to out to lunch. At 11:15 we had left the house to pick up my grandmother at the Pierce House. We had arrived at Kassalonies at 11:55. Once we had eaten our lunch, my sister, mother, grandmother, and I left the restaurant. At 1:17 we arrived at the Pierce House. My sister had brought our grandmother to her room. We then arrived home shortly afterwards. At 1:48 I then found myslef in bed sleeping once I had brushed my teeth. At 4:45 I then got up to eat dinner before taking a shower. My sister then gave me my birthday gift from her. Three wooden models from Hobby Lobby. Similar to the one I had made with Tobie during my recreational therapy session. I then went to my bedroom to type into today’s blog entry.

Cleaning my space

My Wednesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by taking my new siezure medication before putting on my splint. I then went back to sleep until 9:00. Iwas then awaken by a call from a friend. We spoke briefly, I then got out of bed so as to stretch. Once I had completed my routine, I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with tea. At 9:55 I then had a plate of crepes for breakfast before returning to my bedroom so as to take the sheets off of my bed. At 10:12 I then had brushed my teeth before putting in my eye and nose drops. I then took in some air before shaving. At 10:24 I had made my bed with clean sheets. I then vacuumed the rug in my bedroom before dusting the furniture. At 11:30 I then lied down to rest. I had slept until 3:00 before getting up to have a little bite to eat. I then took my shower before eating dinner at 4:30. Ithen returned to my bedroom at 5:00 so as to type in todays blog entry.

The new medication divalproex seems to be helping more and more every day. Less seizure and headache activity.

My Wednesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by getting up so as to make my bed. At 7:45 I had heard the beep beep beep sound outside my bedroom window. It was United Wheelchair here to bring me to WestSide. It was their mistake. I had cancelled the week after getting out of the hospital so as to get use to the new medication. I was up, so I went into the kitchen so as to drink my hot cocoa while eating some fruit. After a bowl of cereal and half a bagel, I then picked up the kitchen before returning to my bedroom. At 8:10 I had brushed my teeth and shaved before making my bed. At 9:00 I then began to do my back stretch’s. At 9:30 I then continued to stretch with the stretch’s that I have been doing since having my stroke. At 9:40 I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 10:15 I then filled my empty pill containers. At 10:30 I then put my splint on before starting to listen to my book. At 11:00 I then called my grandmother. At 12:00 I then turned on the news. Once the news was finished,  I had eaten some lunch before brushing my teeth. I then layed down to rest at 1:00. I had slept until 4:30 before getting up to eat dinner. After doing so I had taken a shower before pulling up my blog at 5:15. I then called it a day once my entry was typed in.

Having my blood drawn

My Tuesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to take a shower. I was able to take any medication. My father then took me to Franklin Memorial Hospital for blood work. We had arrived there at 6:40. I then checked in before sitting down to wait. There was only one person there ahead of me. The woman that had drawn my blood, Saw my name and said, “We went to school together. Once I had my blood drawn, my father then took me home. We had picked up a bite to eat on the way. I had to get my medication into me as soon as possible. We had arrived home at 7:45. I had gone strait in to eat. After doing so, I had brushed my teeth at 8:00 before going back to bed. I had slept until 11:00. I then got up to fix my medications for the week. At 11:35 I then put on my splint before listening to my book. I did so until 11:50. I then watched the news at noon. At 12:20 I then had a bowl of cereal. At 12:30 I then brushed my teeth before doing my back stretch’s. At 1:30 I then lied down to rest. I had slept until 4:30 before waking. The medication is taking a towel on me, but I did not have a seizure today, so far. I then went into the kitchen so as to have a plate of spaghetti. At 4:45 I then brushed my teeth before doing my back and stretch’s from my stroke. At 5:15 I then took a shower before pulling up my blog.

Another seizure, REALLY?

My Monday morning began on this ninth day of April, at 5:30 a.m. by waking up to a headache and feeling sick to my stomach. What else is new? Ithen sat in my recliner to drink my hot cocoa. I then went into the kitchen so as to eat a bowl of cereal with a half of a toasted bagel. At 6:43 Ithen returned to my bedroom as to brush my teeth. I then shaved before puttin in my eye and nose drops so as to be able to see and hear a little better. I then had taken in some air with my inhaler before putting on my splint. I then sat in my recliner to watch a movie while the splint worked its magic. HA HA!!! At 8:15 P.T. Had called cancelling me out for the day. It was a good thing, I did not feel well enough to go. I then called my mother at work to let her know. At 8:20 I then took my splint off after having it on for a while. I then made my bed before stretching. At 8:40 I then started to listen to my book. At 9:00 I then stretched. My sister then called to wish me a happy birthday. At 9:37 I then called the pharmacy to see if I had any medication to pick up. At 10:10 I then called my mother at work to let her know about my medication. At 10:30 I then listened to my book while wearing my splint. I then took it off at noon so as to go into the kitchen so as to eat lunch. At 12:00 I then brushed my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept for three hours before waking at 3:30 to having yet another seizure. This is getting a little disturbing. I just arrived home from the hospital from an e.e.g. Taking a new medication and now this. At 3:45 I then took a shower getting comfortable for the night. At 4:00 I then opened cards and a few gifts with my parents. I then showed my parents all the birthday wish’s that I had received on face book. Still feeling sick after the seizure I had earlier a bowl of oatmeal and a piece of toast sounded good for dinner. I then returned to my bedroom so as to type in todays blog entry.

An eventful day for my head

My Sunday morning began at 1:00 a.m. by waking up to my bed feeling like it was spinning and chills running through my body. I then felt like vomiting. Classics symptoms of a seizure as far as I am concerned. To top it off when I stood up out of bed, my legs were week. I had then experienced somewhat of a headache, but that was not my concern at this point. How was I going to get back to sleep. I had watched television until 1:30 to get my mind off of things I then turned it off and just layed there to rest. I could not fall back to sleep so as 4:15 I had put my splint on. Until 6:00. I then took the splint off before getting up to take my medication. At 6:30 I then watched Sunday Mass on television. At 7:00 I then went back to sleep until 8:50. I then went into the kitchen so as to drink my hot cocoa and have a bowl of cereal. At 9:21 I had brushed my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. Once I had shaved, I had layed back down to rest. At 9:53 Ihad put some clean laundry away. At 10:00 I then lay back down on my bed so as to listen to my book. At 10:15 Ithen did my back stretch’s. I then preceded with the stretch’s that I have been doing since having my stroke. At 10:55 I layed back down to listen to my book. At 11:30 I had called my grandmother to let her know mom would be there shortly with communion and to let her know the reason why I did not visit today. At 12:15 I then filled my empty pill containers. At 12:30 I had put my splint on before my mother had arrived home. I then stopped listening to my book and took my splint off. At 12:50 I had taken two tylonol before brushing my teeth. At 1:15 I found myself back laying on my bed. I had slept until 4:20 before getting up to take a shower. After doing so, as I was getting ready to eat dinner with my parents, I felts sick to my stomach caused by a migranne headache. I then was only able to eat a piece of toast with some tea. At 5:30 I then did some reading before pulling up my blog.

First day home and still feel a little nauciouse

My Saturday morning began at 6:20 a.m. by getting up so as to take a dose of my new medication. Ithen slept until 9:20 before going into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit and drink my hot cocao. After doing so, I then returned to my bedroom so as to shave. At 10:10 I then went back into the kitchen so as to eat some crepe’s for breakfast. I then returned to my bedroom at 10:25 so as to brush my teeth  before making my bed. After doing so, I then put some clean laundry away. After filling my thermos with ice, I then put some water in the bottle. After talking to my grandmother I had began to stretch at 11:00. Once I had completed my back stretch’s, I then began not to feel all that well. Feeling dizzy and light headed I then put my splint on before laying down to rest. I had slept from 11:50-3:30 before waking. Once I had taken off my splint, I then went into the kitchen to get a bite to eat. At 4:30 I then had taken a shower thus getting comfortable for the evening before eating dinner. At 5:20 I then returned to my bedroom so as to type in today’s blog entry.

Discharge Day from Main Medical Center

My Friday morning began at 7:30 a.m. When Nurse Nancy and Megan the c.n.a. came into my room to take my blood pressure and temperature. At 8:05 my breakfast had arrived. Once I had finished eating, at 8:10 I then shaved and brushed my teeth.  At 8:30 I then waited for ten minutes before nurse Nancy had given me my medication. After doing so Mary Jo had taken off my e.e.g. thus disconnnecting all the wires glued to my head. At 9:00 I wanted to talk a shower. I was a little unsteady on my feet do to being in bed for so many days strait. My legs were like toothpicks. The Megan the c.n.a. Had assisted me so as to be there if I were to fall. Once I was nice a clean and all the glue was scrubbed off my head, I had met with Jennifer to go over my discharge and  the new medications that that I am now taking. After doing so Megan had put me in a wheelchair to bring me to the Main Medical Center entrance where we had met my sister. I then said good-bye to Megan and thanked her for helping to get ready to leave this morning. My sister then brought me to her house in Scarborough wher we met our mother. My mother and I then went home. We had arrived home at 12:45. I had eaten some lunch before laying down to rest. I had slept from 1:11-4:45. I then looked over my new medication list and filled my medication pill cases for the week ahead. I first had emptied all the old medications out of the remaining pill containers. I then started to fill them with my new medications. At 5:40 I then ate my dinner before taking a tylonol for some head pain. After doing so I then unpacked a few things before typing in todays blog entry.

Deep Breathing

My Thursday morning began at 1:00 a.m. by ending my sleep deprivation, so as to try to induce a seizure. I then slept until 7:00 a.m. At 7:40 Ilene The c.n.a. Came into my room so as to take my vitals. She then brought me some fresh water and ginger ale. At 8:20 I then had my breakfast, a bowl of cereal with two muffins. At 8:35 I then brushed teeth. At 8:50 Nurse Marcy came into my room so as to give me my medication. At 9:00 I then took in some air. Before playing a game of cribbage with my sister. At 9:45 I then rested. At 10:00 I then did some stretching as best I could. I then washed up before filling out my menu. Ilene then came into my room so as to introduce herself to my mother. At 10:45 I then played a game of cribbage with my mother. At 11:00 I then had the netting on my head fixed so as to hold the leads in place. At 12:00 I then ate my lunch. At 12:15 the Doctor came in, he had told me that he is starting me on the medication depicoat. After a short rest, a tech came into my room so as to flash some light in my eyes and to have me do some deep breathing so as to try to induce a seizure. I then rested briefly before nurse Nancy came into my room so as to give me first depicoat pill. I then continued to rest. At 2:45 I the rested til 4:15. Nurse Eileen came into my room so as to take my blood pressure and temperature. I then watched television before playing a game of cribbage with my mother. At 5:10 I then ate dinner. At 5:30 nurse gave me my medication. My sister arrived shortly after. My mother then left for my sisters. I then pulled up my blog before settling in for my last night at Main Medical Center.

Sleep deprivation

My Wednesday morning began at 6:30 a.m. by waking. I had my breakfast brought to my hostpial room at 7:30. Once I had finished eating, Liz the c. n. a. on duty came to my room to take my vitals. After doing so, I then bathed the best I could hooked up to the e.e.g. At 8:30 I had put my splint on. I then put in my eye and nose drops. At 8:55 Ben the Nurse on duty came into my room so as to give me my carbamasopine. A medication to stop seizures, but today  only received 300 mg instead of 600 mg. At 9:15 Ithen used my inhaler before resting. Trying to get as much as I can before tonight. At 10:45 the Chaplin came into my room so as to give me communion. At 11:15 I then used my fathers phone to call my grandmother. Ithen rested until 12:10 before two c.n.a.’s in training came into my room with nurse Karen to take my blood pressure and temperature. At 12:30 Liz had helped my father change the sheets on our beds. At 12:45 I then had lunch. At 1:15 I then brushed my teeth. At 1:30 the nurse came in to flash lights in not face and to make some noise. Hoping to give me a seizure. Ithen rested until 2:30. I then filled out my menu. Nurse Ben then brought me in some ginger ail. At 3:15 my sister had arrived. My mother then left at 3:45. At 4:00 Barbara and I ordered dinner. At 4:50 we gad eaten, After doing so, I then pulled up my blog and began to type in today’s entry. I then prepared myself for a sleepless night. Let’s hope this works. Come on SEIZURE!!!

I HAD A SEIZURE !!!

My Tuesday morning began at 7:00 a.m. by getting up and washing myself as best I could. My father was with me so he had helped out tool. I was in the seizure room at Maine Medical Centerl strapped up to an E.E.G. Unit so I could not be left alone. Once I had my clean pair of jams on and the Johnny that I wore, we then called in for breakfast. In the mean time a med tech came in my room to read the computer in which my E.E.G. Was connected to. Nurse Karen then gave me two aspirin for a headache that was just not going away. Dr. Morrison then came into my room to examine me. He had tested the strength in my arms and legs. At 8:50 I then brushed my teeth before laying back down in bed to rest. At 9:20 I had taken some air in with my inhaler. At 9:45 a priest had entered into my room so as to give me communion and to say a prayer. The nurse then took my blood pressure 127 over 88. She then took my temperature. At 10:10 I had put my splint on. My mother had then soon arrived to relieve my father. I then did a word search before nurse came in to flash some lights in my eyes. At 10:48 I then met with Jennifer O’niel a Neuroscience patience Navagator. She helps you guide you through your program. At 11:00 I then took my brace off. I then continued to do a word search. I then rested at 11:35. At 11:40 the Chaplin had come to introduce himself. At 12:00 I had watched the news while eating my lunch. At 12:30 I then rested. As I was doing so, I had a seizure. Nurse Mary Jo had come running in all excited. She looked at my mother and exclaimed, “He had a seizure!” That is a good thing while I am hooked up to the E.E.G. Now maybe they cane see what is going on. At 2:10 I then went back to sleep. I did so until 2:20. My father then arrived back to relieve my mother who went to stay with my sister. I then slept until 4:45. I then pulled up my blog to type of my day.

Admission Day into Main Medical Center

My Monday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch. I first stretch my back then did my other stretch’s. At 5:35 I then shaved before taking my shower. At 6:00 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat my breakfast at 6:00. Once I had some fruit, I then had a banana sandwich. I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth, then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 7:00 I then had left the house with my parents for Main Medical Center. We had met my sis Teri there at 9:00. We then checked in at 9:30. I was to be admitted to be hooked up to an E.E.G. In a room dedicated just for people with seizure problems. I am still on my medication, that will be taken away from me tomorrow so as to hopefully bring on a seizure. Elizabeth the E.E.G. Technician Wired my head up thus bringing me to my room. Once I was good to go my nurse for the day Karen and Tiffany the C.N.A. Came into my room to put the Leeds on my head. At 11:00 they finished by doing a test to see if everything was working well. Tiffany then took my vitals, 115 over 88 my blood pressure. At 11:00 I then lay in my hospital bed. At 11:30 Nurse Karen had come in my room to ask me questions. At 12:00 Nurse Karen then put an I.V. In my arm. At 12:15 I then had my lunch brought to me. After a lunch of roast beef corn and mashed potato, I then layed back down to rest. I woke up at 2:05. My neurologist had come in to see me at 2:10. Dr. Morrison had given me an exam before leaving. At 2:20 I had a quick snack before taking some pictures of my room. I then continued to rest until 4:20. Nurse Karen came into see briefly before I had eaten my dinner. Once I had finished eating a lobster roll and a slice of pizza, I then grabbed my I pad and began to type in today’s blog entry.

Preparing for the day tomorrow

My Sunday morning began at 1:25 a.m. I could not slept, so. I decided to put my splint on. I kelp this it on for and hour before taking it off at 2:25. Ithen fell back to sleep until 6:00. I then watched the news before watching Sunday Mass at 6:30. At 7:00 I then did my back stretch and stretch’s for recovery from a stroke. At 8:10 I then put some clean laundry away before shaving and taking my shower. At 8:50 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit before having peanut butter and honey on a toasted bagel. At 9:15 I then brushed my teeth, and put in my eye and nose drops. I then took in some air. I then left with my mother. She had dropped me off at my grandmothers on her way to church. We had played two games of cribbage while waiting for my mother. Once she had given us communion, my mother then took me to the shop so that my father could give me a haircut, before I go into the hospital tomorrow. We had left the shop my mother and I AT 12:15. We had arrived home at 12:40. Ithen filled my empty pill containers. At 1:00 I had a grilled cheese before brushing my teeth. At 1:30 I then layed down to rest. I slept until 5:00 before getting up to eat dinner. I then took a shower before sitting down at 5:50 to blog.
