Discharge Day from Main Medical Center

My Friday morning began at 7:30 a.m. When Nurse Nancy and Megan the c.n.a. came into my room to take my blood pressure and temperature. At 8:05 my breakfast had arrived. Once I had finished eating, at 8:10 I then shaved and brushed my teeth.  At 8:30 I then waited for ten minutes before nurse Nancy had given me my medication. After doing so Mary Jo had taken off my e.e.g. thus disconnnecting all the wires glued to my head. At 9:00 I wanted to talk a shower. I was a little unsteady on my feet do to being in bed for so many days strait. My legs were like toothpicks. The Megan the c.n.a. Had assisted me so as to be there if I were to fall. Once I was nice a clean and all the glue was scrubbed off my head, I had met with Jennifer to go over my discharge and  the new medications that that I am now taking. After doing so Megan had put me in a wheelchair to bring me to the Main Medical Center entrance where we had met my sister. I then said good-bye to Megan and thanked her for helping to get ready to leave this morning. My sister then brought me to her house in Scarborough wher we met our mother. My mother and I then went home. We had arrived home at 12:45. I had eaten some lunch before laying down to rest. I had slept from 1:11-4:45. I then looked over my new medication list and filled my medication pill cases for the week ahead. I first had emptied all the old medications out of the remaining pill containers. I then started to fill them with my new medications. At 5:40 I then ate my dinner before taking a tylonol for some head pain. After doing so I then unpacked a few things before typing in todays blog entry.
