A tour of the immersion program
My Tuesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, I then began to do my stretches that have helped me during my lates stroke. I then began to do my back stretches. Once I was loosened up, I had cycled for twenty minutes before returning to my bedroom so as to shave and take my shower. At 6:00 I then went back into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip. I thenhad a bowl of cherries with a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom at 6:30 so as to brush my teeth. Ithen put in my eye and nose drops before taking my first puff of air. I then waiting twenty minutes before taking my second puff. At 6:47 I then had put some clean laundry away. At 7:15 United Wheelchair had arrived to bring me to WestSide Neurorehab. Upon my arrival at 8:25 I had sat in the lobby waiting to meet with Priyadarshi. During my counseling session today we discussed the losses that I have experienced from the three strokes that I have had. At 10:00 Nancy and I had left westside to go to Portland so as to have a tour of the immersion program for people with visual impairment. We had arrived there at 11:00. We had met Tim my case manager for the devision of the blind. He then in turn introduce US to Amber who would be my case manager If I were to live in the dorms and receive a three month programming. Amber then gave my parents, sister, Nancy, and I a tour of the facility and the dorms. Over the next week or two I will be thinking it over. At 12:45 we had left for home. At 1:38 we had stopped to eat lunch along the way before arriving home at 3:54. Once inside, I had taken a shower. At 4:00 I then ate dinner before emailing my case manager for the devision of the blind Tim just to let him know the questions that I had asked amber today. I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.
