Emailing Steven to let him knwo of my tour of the immersion program
My Wednesday morning began at 12:04 a.m. by waking by not breathing. Once I had started to breath again, I had used my rescue inhaler. Once my lungs were filled with air, I was then able to relax and fall back to sleep for a brief period. My alarm had gone off at 5:00 every other morning. Once my bed was made, I then began to do the stretches that have helped me during my stroke recovery. At 5:15 I then began to do my back stretches. Once I was loosened up, I then spent twenty minutes cycling. I had returned to my bedroom at 5:50 so as to shave and take my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:15 I then made my way into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit with fruit dip while drinking my hot cocoa. Once I had finished eating my peanutbutter and banana sandwich for breakfast, I then returned to my bedroom at 6:35 so at to brush my teeth. As I was doing so, I had acquired a sour taste in my mouth, then a sudden sick feeling to my stomach as though a small siezure had occurred. After I had assessed the experience that I had just had, sure enough it was a siezure. Buzzy from United Wheelchair had soon arrived to take me to WestSide. Upon my arrival at 9:00 I had gone to Nancy’s office for visually impaired group. I was the only client that had arrived for the group, so I had spent the time showing Marie and O.T. Student my book that I am working on, my blog, and talking about my involvement with devision of the blind. At 10:00 during my session with Jamie, We spoke about doing a project with a bottle. We then looked on pintrist for crafts to make with bottles. At 10:30 we then played a game of battle ship. At 10:50 We then made a quick trip to dunkin to get a hot beverage. At 11:00 During Mindfulness and meditation with Priyadarshi I was the only client to arrive, so we spent the time emailing my case manager at WestSde Steven to let him know that I need next Tuesday off to go on the tour of the immersion center. We then talked about the weeks stressures before doing a mindfulness practice. At 12:00 I then went to the lobby so as to meet the United Wheelchair Driver who would be taking me home. I had arrived home at 1:17. Once I was comfortable, I had eaten my lunch. At 2:00 I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth before laying down to rest. I had slept until 4:55 before waking. I then ate dinner before taking a shower. After doing so, I then pulled up my blog and began to type of my day.
