“AMAZING!”
My Wednesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, I then started in with my stretching that has helped in my latest stroke. At 5:26 I then grabbed my weights and began to work my upper body. At 5:30 I then began to do my back exercises before making my way to the gym which is down the hallway from my apartment. After a 20 minute cycling exercise, I then stretched my calve. I then returned to my apartment at 6:15. Once I had eaten some fruit and drank my hot cocoa, I then fixed myself a bowl of cereal to go along with my english muffin. Once I had finished eating at 6:45 I had brushed my teeth shaved before taking my shower. Once I was ready for the day ahead, I then went back to my kitchen at 7:15 so as to wash some dishes. At 7:22 I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. At 7:30 I then listened to my audio book while waiting to go to the lobby of Schooner Estates to catch my ride. While down there I had told the front desk about my appointment at the chiropractor for tomorrow. She then let me know to be In the lobby thirty minutes before appointment. Upon my arrival to WestSide, I had gone to Nancy’s office for visual impaired group. I was the only client to arrive, so Nancy and I had first filled out questionnaire to bring with me to my new primary care doctor. We then emailed Tim my case manager for the devision of the blind asking him about working with a vision rehab services. At 10:00 during my rehab session with Jamie while walking out to Jamie’s car with her, I did not see a tree limb and banged my head falling to the ground. It was quite the fall too. Jamies mother who also works at westside was in the parking lot and they both had to help me up. My head hurt for a while, I then came around and Jamie and played candy land, chess and mancola. I beat her in the first game of chess in five moves. “AMZING!” At 11:00 I had gone to PRIYADARSHI’S office for mindfulness and meditation group. I was the only client there, So after a mindfulness practice, Priyadarshi had me walk a round the hallways of WestSide working on using my senses to identify things. We first used my sence of sence of smell. We then worked on what I was hearing. We then worked on what did I see. We then went outside and did the same things. We then went back to Priyadarshi’s office to talk about my experience. At 12:00 I then met with my case manager Steven. He first let me know that he would be on vacation next week. We then talked about my email to Tim and doctor’s appointment yesterday with my new chiropractor. I then went to the lobby to meet my ride. Upon my arrival to Schooner Estates, I had gone to my apartment briefly before going to lunch. As I was walking out my door my neighbor who just moved in had asked me, “Do you mind if I ride down with you?” HE Was unsure of his way to the Camden dining area. Once I had finished eating, I then went to the front desk to check with Sue about my transportation to my chiropractor for tomorrow. I then went back to my apartment to brush my teeth. I then slept form 2:00-4:50. I then made my self a sandwich. Once I started to eat, my father had called. I then finished eating before washing my dishes. At 4:46 I then took a shower getting comfortable for the night. At 6:10 I had brought my laundry to the laundry room to start two loads of laundry. At 6:15 I then returned to my apartment so as to blog of my day.
