My first day of counseling at WestSide

 My Tuesday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by going into the kitchen to drink my hot cocoa whileeating some fruit. After doing so, I then had a bowl of cheereo's with banana, along with a toasted english muffin with peanut butter and jam on each half. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth. At 5:57 I then shaved and took my shower so as to get ready for my day ahead. Once I had wad dressed in my P.T. clothing, I then began to do my back stretches. At 6:37 I then continued with my stroke stretches. At 7:45 I had finished my workout. Just in time to, United Wheelchair was just pulling in my driveway. Upon my arrival to WestSide at 8:50 I had gone downstairs to the gym immediately for my P.T. sesssion with Dan. Good News he said, "We finally hired a Physical Therapist here at WestSide. It is some one that has worked here before and at d'youville while when I was transferred there right after my stroke. Her name is Caryn. "Great I can not wait until she starts." We then began our walk around the kitchen and gym. After a number of loops, I then went into the parallel bars to do some leg exercises. Dan then had me stepping up on a block. After that exercise I then crossed my arms and looked in every direction. Up, down, left, right, ect. At 9:20 Dan then had me doing some side stepping. At 9:30 I then sat on the mat to take a break while Dan went to get me a glass of water. Once my break was up, I then went into the hall to do some back ward walking. Dan then had me walk four laps around the kitchen and gym before ending the session. After a short break, I then went to the conference room for games group. Today Keiliegh, Skylar, and Samantha had us playing skip-bo. We then played a game of Uno. At 12:00 I then went to the kitchen to eat my lunch with two other clients and Dan. More clients came at 12:30 and Skylar took Dans place, I soon went up to the lobby to wate for my next session. At 1:00 Innes came out to the lobby to bring me to her office for my first counseling session. She game me an interest assessment, I then showed her my blog, We also talked about radical acceptance. At 2:00 I then went to the lobby to meet me ride home. I arrive home at 3:10. Once inside my bedroom I lied down at 3:10 and slept until 4:50. After taking a shower, I had gone into the kitchen to eat. At 5:36 I then returned to my bedroom to blog of ny day.
