Having a speech evaluation with Carina

 My Monday morning began at 7:30 a.m. by. eating my fruit while drinking a cup of hot cocoa. At 7:40 I then had a bowl of hot cereal with a toasted english muffin with peanut-butter on one half and Nu Tella on the other, along with a slice of banana. At 7:00 I then made my bed before brushing my teeth. At 8:10 I then began to do my back stretches. At 8:20 I then shaved before taking a shower, so as to get ready for the day ahead. At 8:35 I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. Once I was dressed and ready for the day ahead, I then sat down at 9:00 to listen to my audio book while waiting for United Wheelchair to arrive. At 9:30 I was on my way to WestSide. At 10:35 I had arrived. I had sat in the lobby for thirty minutes waiting to meet with Caryn for my P.T. session. Daniel soon came into the lobby to let me know both Dan and Caryn were out, so Daniel pu me in Puzzle Group with Daniel. I continued to make a puzzle for a client that was out while the other two clients worked on their puzzles. At 12:00 I then had a speech evaluation with Carina. We first spoke about how my swallowing was with eating and drinking. She then did some memory and attention exercises with me. She first asked me to name as many animals that I could in so many seconds She then had me name as many fruits and vegetables as I could in a certain amout of time. She then read a paragraph, then she asked me questions about certain things that went on in the paragraph. She requested six sessions of speech in four six weeks. At 1:00 Bob from United Wheelchair took me home. I arrived home at 2:30. After a light lunch, I then brushed my teeth and comfortable before laying down to rest. I slept from 2:45-4:10 before waking. After taking a shower and getting comfortable for the evening, at 4:30 I had a bowl of soup with crackers before pulling up my blog at 4:53, so as to type of my day.
