My Tuesday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by eating my fruit while drinking a cup of hot cocoa. At 6:15 I then had a bowl of oatmeal with banana, and a slice of toast. At 6:30 I then brushed my teeth and shaved before doing my back stretches. Once I had finished my stretches, I then took a shower, so as to get ready for the day ahead. Once I was dressed for the day, I had put in my eye and nose drops After taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler, at 7:10 I began to do my constant therapy. At 7:30 I then took the sheets off my bed, thus making it with clean sheets. At 8:00 I then grabbed my things as United Wheelchair had arrived and I was soon on my way to Neurorestorative. Upon my arrival at 9:00 I had waited fifteen minutes in the lobby before going to the conference room for reading group with Faith. Today we read a short story about "Sunset in Milan. We stopped to discuss every now an then, which is the hardest part for me with my short term memory loss. At 10:30 I then went to the gym for my P.T. Session with Dan. I first walked 425 feet before going back into the gym to ride the Nu Step. After fifteen minutes of cycling, I then went into the parallel bars to do some leg exercises. I first did some stepping up onto this block of wood and holing my foot there for thirty seconds. I then switched feet off and on. I then put my feet in a modified tandem stance and held this 6position for so many minutes. At 1:15 I then went to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group with Faith and Abby. Today we spoke about a new format for the group. We then did some brain injury trivia. At 12:00 I then had my O.T. Session with Laurie. She helped me to set up a program to use to work on my memory. At 12:00 I then had speech with carina during lunch. Once she had the e-stem attached to my throat, she then put the level up to five as chewed and swallowed my food and my drink. At 12:30 I then went home. I arrived home at 2:30. Took a shower to get comfortable before pulling up my blog to type of my day before eating dinner.
