Having a barium swallow

My Thursday morning began at 8:00 a.m. by drinking my cocoa while eating some fruit. I Then had a bowl of cereal with banana along with an english muffin. At 8:45 I then shaved before taking a shower, o as to get ready fro the day. Once I was dressed, I had put in my eye and nose drops before taking in two puffs of air with my inhaler. At 9:35 I then did my constant therapy. At 10:00 I then left the house with my father to go to the Main Health to have a barium swallow. Upon our arrival I checked in, gave my date of birth and other information. I then went into the room where the barium swallow would be taking place. They first put one of those gowns around me before starting the test. They had some type of machine beside my neck to scan the food going down to see if it was getting lodged in areas of my throat. They had me eating a peanut-butter sandwich, swallowing a barium pill, I then had to drink water with barium in it, while throat was being scanned. It showed a pool in my throat where food and liquids are getting lodged. After the test they spoke to my father and I about what was going on and that they would send the results to Carina my speech therapist at Neuro Restorative. We soon left the hospital and arrived home at 11:50. After watching the news and eating some triscuit's and cheese, I then brushed my teeth and lied down to reset. I slept until 3:30. After talking to my mother briefly, I had taken a shower, so as to get comfortable for the evening, before eating dinner. I then pulled up my blog and typed of my day.
