Making things with Tobie during my recreational therapy session
My Friday morning began this day at 5:00 a.m. by starting in with my stretching. After thirty minutes of loosening up, I then preceded to shave before strapping on my ankle weights. After doing so, I then preceded to do my leg exercises. At 5:45 I then grabbed the dumb bells and then began to work my upper body. Had finished my workout at 6:00 thus getting ready for the day. Once I had showered, I then went out into the kitchen to eat some fruit, with fruit dip. I then had a cup of hot cereal with a toasted english muffin. Once I had finished eating, I then preceded to go back to my bedroom to brush my teeth. Once i had cleaned my bathroom, I then sat down to wait for my ride. I had left the house at 7:45. Upon my arrival to WestSide fo 9:00 a.m. I had put my knapsack into my locker. I then went to the lobby to wait. At 9:30 Matt, Dan, and Mallisa took us to the mall to do some walking. While walking it seemed quite festive with Christmas music playing and Decorations all about. Once we had finished walking we had returned to WestSide for 11:00 a.m. I then went to the conference room with others to do some stretching with Matt and Michelle. While we were each taking a turn to name a stretch music was beting played. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area for lunch. Today Cafe was serving home made chicken noodle soup with home made biskets, and for desert a cookie. Once I had finished eating, I had taken a shower before going to the lobby to wait for Tobie to start my recreational therapy session. At 1:00 Tobie and I went to the kitchen to make a batch of Things. This is a Christmas cookie I use to make every Christmas season before having my stroke. It really was fun today as I was making cookies with Tobie, It brought back memories of when I use to do them every Christmas season while listening to Christmas Music. I then showed Tobie the notes I had taken while watching the cooking show yesterday. At 2:00 United Wheelchair then took me home. I had arrived home at 3:30, thus getting comfortable before sitting down to blog.
