Making bacon chicken crescent rings during baking basics today
I began my Monday morning at 5:30 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing so I had taken my shower. After doing so I had gone out into the kitchen to have a cup of hot cereal and a toasted english muffin. At 6:30 I had returned to my bedroom to brush my teeth. I then grabbed my knapsack and lunch and out the door I went. Upon my arrival to WestSide for 9:00 I had put my lunch in my locker, then made my way to the conference room for Academic skills group. Today we had decided to play a game. Do to the fact we could not get the iternet to work, so We ended up playing Kings Cribbage. Not everyone in the group new how to play, so it was a learning experience for all. At 1000 I had stayed in the conference room for tai chi group. Today our focus was on our balance. As we were doing so we imagined what we saw, heared, smelt, and could feel. At 11:00 I then had made my way to the kitchen for baking basics group. Today Nichole and Casey had us making Bacon chicken crescent rings. My task was to mix the filling to put int the crescent. Once we had them in the oven we had sat down int the dining area to look for recipes to chose from for next weeks meal. Once a decision was made we then sat down to eat lunch. At 1:00 I then met wtih Deb for a rehab session. We had once again worked on my email. At 2:00 during my hour break, I had eaten my lunch in the dining area. Nice and quiet during this hour. I then took my shower. I then went to the lobby to wait for social group at 3:00. Before going downstairs to the dining area Mindy the receptionist had told me do to the snow storm on its way, all transportation had ben cancelled for tomorrow. I then went to the dining area for social group. Today we played the game mind your marbals to engage everyone in the group to talk with Casey and Alex. I had finally arrived home at 5:40. Thus going strait to my bedroom to get confortable before sitting down to blog. I then ate dinner before calling it a day.
