Learning how to lay and sit during P.T.
My Thursday morning began at 7:30 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, Ithen went into my bathroom so as to shave. At 7:13 I had started in with my stretching. Once I had completed the routine, I then had taken a shower. At 8:15 I had gone into the kitchen to eat first eat some fruit. I then had a bowl of hot cereal wit a piece of toast. Once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before taking in some air. Once I had cleaned my bathroom, I then had left the house with my mother for a trip to the dentist. Upon our arrival at 9:30, we had made our way in to have our teeth cleaned. After doing so, we had finally left the dentist office at 10:55. On our way back home, we had made a stop at Hanaford, While my mother was in the grocery store, I had taken the time to call my grandmother. Once we had left the grocery store, At 11:42 we had stopped at the post office to buy some stamps. We finally arrived home at 12:00. Once inside I had eaten my lunch. I then returned to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then layed down to rest. I had slept from 12:30-12:45. I then changed into a sweat suit. My mother then took me to physical therapy. Today during P.T. Jonathan first asked me if I had minded if a student from the Univer of Maine had sat in to observe. I had replied “No.” What else would I say. Something like that does not bother me, as long as I do not have to get involved in to much conversation. Jonathon first had me practicing sitting in a chair properly. Up and down I went ever so slowly, using the muscles in my legs for support and the arms in the chair. Before getting up, I would have to put my hands on the arms of the chair for support. Now it was time to practice laying down. So as to help me when getting in and out of bed. While in bed, I first would have to fold my legs, knees up to my chest then roll onto my side, then continue to get up off of the bed. My therapy ended at 3:45. I then left for home with my mother. Upon my arrival at 3:45, I had spoken to my grandmother before taking a shower. Once I was comfortable for the night, I then pulled up my blot and began to type in todays entry.
