Making a call to check on my status with the devision of the blind
My Wednesday morning began at 5:30 a.m. by making my bed. After doing so, I then began to do my stretching that has helped me during my stroke recovery. Once my body was loosened up, I then began to work my upper body with my weight workout. At 5:50 I then ended my routine with my back exercises. At 6:00 I then shaved before taking my shower, thus getting ready for the day ahead. At 6:20 I then went into the kitchen so as to eat some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. I then a piece of toast with my egg. Once I had finished eating, I then retunred to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. I then put in my eye and nose drops before using my inhaler. At 7:15 I then meet United Wheelchair in my driveway. Upon my arrival to WestSide Neurorehabilitation services, I had gone to the client lounge. At 9:00 I then went to Nancy’s office for visually impaired group. Today we spoke about a sonar devise that a visually impaired holds while they are walking and can warn you before you fall or bump into something. We then spoke about the devision of the blind and vocational rehab. We then spoke about meetings throughout the state that are held for people with visual disiablity. During my rehab session with Dan, I first called Judy Wolf to see where I stand with devision of the blind for receiving services. Dan and I then went on line to play a game called sparkle. At 11:00 I had gone to Priyadarshi’s office for mindfulness and medication. Once we had shared our experiences over the week with meditation, we then engaged in one. At 12:00 I then met my United Wheeelchair driver in the lobby. I had arrived home at 1:10. Once I was comfortable, I had eaten my lunch before retunring to my bedroom so as to brush my teeth. At 1:43 I then layed down to rest. I had slept until 5:00 before waking. Once I had taken a shower, I then went into t the kitchen so as to eat dinner with my parents. At 5:45 I then retunred to my bedroom so as to put some clean laundry away before pulling up my blog.
