Holding my balance during P.T.
I began my Wednesday morning at 8;00 a.m. by eating a bowl of cereal and toasted english muffin for my breakfast. Once I had done so I started the dish washer. I then went downstairs to ride the swin air dine for thirty minutes. At 9:15 I was back in my bedroom doing my weight exercises. At 9:40 I then stretched. After taking my shower I then empty the dishwasher at 10:30 thus putting the dish's away. At 11:00 I then gathered my lunch and duffle bag and brought them to the door. United WheelChair soon picked my up and took me to WestSide. Upon my arrivel for 1:00 p.m. I went straight to the conference room for support group. Tod, Pete, Denise, Tina, Dee Dee, and I first checked in to let everyone know how our week went. I talked about the pannel I was asked to be on to talk about my stroke/brain injury. Denise talked about her dancing. We then worked on the recovery card. At 2:00 I then went down to the gym for my p.t. session with Dan. Dan first took my blood pressure 104 over 74. I then walked on the tredmill for fifteen minutes at 2.8 mph. After my walk Dan took my blood pressure 104 over 74. Dan then had me standing on the erix cushion. He then had me put my left foot on the platform. I was able to hold my balance for one minute and fourteen seconds. I then had my right foot on the platform and I was able to keep my balance for five minutes and two seconds. After doing this exercises Dan had to help me up the elevator and to the lobby. United took it from their helping me out to the van. I had arrived home at 4:30 thus taking my shower to wake up before eating dinner. Once I had finished eating, I then sat down to blog.
