The day with my dad

I began my Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. by going on face book to with a friend, "Happy Birthday!" I then made my way out into the kitchen to eat a bowl of cereal and a toasted muffin for breakfast. I then made my way back into my bedroom to brush my teeth and get ready for the day ahead. As I was beginning to do so, The phone rang. It was my sister Barbara. She had called looking for mom, who does not usually work on Monday. I had told her that is where she was. I then went to my bedroom to make my bed, then to stretch. After I had taken my shower, The nurse from my doctor's office had called, Letting me know that my case manager Piper from Westside had called wanting to know my activity level. The nurse from Doctor Auger's office told me to just give her a copy of my discharge papers for Eastern Maine Medical Center. I then continued to get ready. At 10:30 My father and I took a ride to Augusta. While there we stopped at J&M Camper sales, Home Depot, then on to lunch. At 1:00 we then went to Clark's Marine to look at boat's. We then left for home. On our way home we had stopped at Mt. Vernon Country store to get an ice cream. We then continued on our way. At 1:45 we stopped at the shop so my father could give me a haircut. We had arrived home at 2:30. Upon doing so, I had called my friend Greg to play words with friends until 3:00. I then spoke with my mother on the telephone briefly. At 3:15 I then began to do my leg exercises with weights. Getting back into the swing of things. It feels good. All though I have to take it easy, it works for me. After taking a shower, I then sat down to blog at 4:00. I then prepared myself to go to Westside tomorrow. First day back since I got out of the hospital. Although the doctor wants me to take it easy, it will be nice to get back into the swing of things. I can only go one day this week. I will be meeting with the nurse, case manager, support session. start slow. That is good.
