Discussing a presentation to be done with the Scrub Club during Brain Injury Education Group
My Wednesday morning began on this day at 6:00 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing so, I then began to get ready for the day ahead. Once I had shaved and taken my shower, I then had gone out into the kitchen at 6:45 to eat my breakfast. Once I had eaten peanutbutter and honey on english muffin. Once I had finished eating I had brush my teeth before bringing my knapsack to the door. At 7:45 the dispatch from United Wheelchair had called to let me know to let me know he had made a mistake on the scheduling and that my ride would not be picking me up until thirty minutes later then usual. I then called WestSide to let them know. Upon my arrival to WestSide for 10:00 a.m. Once I had put my things in my locker, I then met Matt in the the conference room for my P.T. session We had worked on balance by using the wii while standing on an arix pad so as to challange my balance. We had done some bowling and some golf with the wii today. At 11:00 I had then made my way to the conference room for Brain Injury Education Group. Today while in group, I had made a phone call to Brewer Rehabillitation to see if there support is still active. We then worked on gathering information on the times of support groups through out the state. We then discussed how the scrub club at Franklin Memorial Hospital has invited us back to do another presentation. The scrub club is a group of students interested in going into the medical field once they have graduated high school. At 12:00 After taking a shower, I had gone to the kitchen to eat my lunch. At 1:00 I then went to the conference room for support group. Once we had finished checking in we then discussed the quote "Your life is a message to the world make sure it is inspiring." At 2:00 Pete from United then brought me home. I had arrived home at 3:00 and went strait to bed. I had slept until 5:00 before getting up. I then went out into the kitchen to eat dinner before returning to my bedroom to blog.
