Having flash backs of the night I had my stroke

I began my Wednesday morning at 5:30 a.m. by getting up to stretch. After doing I then grabbed my weights and began to work my upper body. I then strapped on my ankle weights and began to work my legs. Once my workout was complete I had preceded to take my shower and get ready for the day ahead. After doing so, I had ventured out into the kitchen at 6:30 to eat drink my hot cocoa and eat some fruit. I then had a bowl of cereal and a toasted english muffin. Once I had finished eating, I then returned to my bed room to brush my teeth. After doing so, I then grabbed my knapsack and my lunch and out the door I went. Upon my arrival to WestSide I had my counseling session with Maria. It is weird lately I have ben having flash backs of my stroke and night it happened every time I hear an ambulance sirene. Not that it is a problem, "YET" But I just soon not think about these things, if I do not have to. At 10:00 I had first met Mat in the gym. I had first walked fifteen minutes on the treadmill before going to the conference room to use the wii to work on my balance. Today I stood on the erix pad while bowling using the wii. Mat and I each took turns as he beat me 179 to 172. close game. At 11:00 I had stayed in the conference room. It was now time for Brain Injury Education Group. Today we discussed with Deb and Michelle the damages to the body a brain injury can cause. Today our group focus was vision. What a coinsidence. That is what what part of my brain was damaged in my first stroke, aneurysm at the age of six. I had gone blind for three months. I consider myself lucky to have gained a part of my sight back. We then went over some activities we could do with vision during our presentations. At 12:00 I then went to the dining area to eat my lunch. After doing so, I had taken a shower before going to the conference room for support group at 1:00. Todays Quote that we had discussed with Maria and Carol was, "We are so busy watching out what is just ahead of us, that we do not take the time to enjoy where we are." I had arrived home today at 3:00 p.m. Upon doing so, I had gone strait to bed and slept until 5:30. I then went out into the kitchen to eat dinner. After doing so, I had called my grandmother before sitting down to blog.
