Practicing my speech with Tobie for tomorrow
My Monday morning began at 5:00 a.m. by getting out of bed so as to stretch and to do my weight exercises. After doing so, I then shaved and then preceded to take my shower thus getting ready for the day ahead. After doing so. I had experienced a severe headache in the back of my head. I had taken an extra strength tylenol to ease the pain and that it did. I had eaten some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa before eating my breakfast. I then brushed my teeth before sitting down to rest while waiting for my ride. United Wheelchair had arrived at 8:30 thus getting me to WestSide for 10:00 a.m. After putting my things into my locker, I then made my way over to the gym. During my P.T. session with Danielle she first had me ten minutes cycling on the Nu Step. I then went on the treadmill so as to do some running. I had rum two 40 second intervals and one 30 before running out of breath. If my lungs were a little stronger maybe I could run longer. I then did five minutes on the olyptical before meeting with Tobie at 11:00. She wrapped things up for our presentation for tomorrow at the Brain Injury Conference. We continued to work on the power point presentation for the entire hour. She then let me know that she would find me at the end of the day to give me my copy of the power point presentation. At 12:00 I had then eaten my lunch before taking my shower. At 1:00 during my rehab session with Brenda we had worked on a cognitive activity doing soduko puzzles. At 2:00 Sally covered the cog skills group. Today we had played Taboo. At 3:00 I continued to practice the Art of Rehab Presentation with tobie for tomorrow. At 3:40 I then met with Sally again for focus group. This is where we chose new therapies to do for the next six months. At 4:00 Cherral then took me home. I had arrived home at 5:20. Once i had eaten two bowls of soup I then called United to see what time I would be picked up tomorrow. 6:45 a.m.
