My first chiropractic appointment since my stroke.
My Thursday morning began on this first day of December at 9:00 a.m. by going out into the kitchen so as to have some fruit while drinkinking my hot cocoa. After doing so, I had returned to my bedroom so as to make my bed. Once it was made, I then began to stretch. At 9:40 I then had an egg sandwich for breakfast. Once I had finished eating, I had returned to my bedroom at 10:00 so as to brush my teeth. I then sat down to fill out the forms I needed to fill out before my first chiropractic appointment. I have had back surgery a numbers of years back prier to having my stroke and things were going well, up until the night I had my grand mol seizure this past February. I think some how I had hit my shower doors just right when I landed, because my lower back has been feeling pain ever since. At 11:00 I then spoke to my grandmother my grandmother. She had called wonder how things were going. We spoke briefly, I then lied down to rest. I had slept from 11:30-1:00 before getting up to take a shower. Once I was ready, I then went into the kitchen so as to have a salad for lunch. At 1:40 I then brushed my teeth before leaving the house at 2:00 with my mother. At 2:25 we had stopped off at Mt Blue Drug to pick up some medication. We then made our way over to the chiropractors Dr. Roberts for my appointment. At 2:40 I had to fill out some more forms before having my pictures taken for their records. The Nurse then took me in so as to take my weight and height. Dr. Roberts came in then had me bend right and left, backward and forward. Dr. Roberts then adjusted my back with a few shots with the machine they use. He then set me up another appointment for tomorrow. I feel a little better now. amazing! At 4:30 we had arrived home. I then went into my bedroom so as to put on something comfortable before sitting down to type my blog before supper.
