A morning spent volunteering at the animal shelter

My Thursday morning began at 6:00 a.m. by eating some fruit while drinking my hot cocoa. I then toasted myself an english muffin to go with my bowl of cereal. At 6:25 I had brushed my teeth and shaved before starting in with my stretching. At 6:48 I began to do my stretches that have helped me during my latest stroke recovery. At 7:00 I then washed my dishes before starting in with my back stretches. A 7:20 I had taken a shower so as to get ready for the day ahead. At 8:40 I had gone to the lobby to meet the United Wheelchair driver who would be picking me up. Cheryl was there wating. I had arrived at WestSide at 9:00 a.m. I then went to the animal shelter with Tobie and a few others. While there I cleaned dog cages, filled there waters and dish bowls with food. I also put treats in bowls hanging outside the cages. I then swept the floor with another client while another client had washed it with a mop. At 11:00 we were back at WestSide Cheryl then brought me back. My mother was there waiting for me to take me home for the weekend. Once I had my things from my apartment in the car, we were on our way. Along the way home, I had eaten my lunch. We had arrived home at 1:00. Once inside with my things, I had called United Wheelchair to cancel my transportation for tomorrow and Monday. I then called WestSide to make sure my therapy tomorrow and Monday were cancelled. I then went to sleep and slept until 5:00. Once I had taken a shower, I then had eaten my dinner. I then went into my bedroom at my parents house, where I once lived to type of my day.
