Blood work at Franklin Memoial Hospital
I began my Monday morning at 5:30 a.m. by taking my shower thus getting ready for the day ahead. Once I had done so, my father had taken me over to Franklin Memorial Hospital to have my blood work done. On our way home I had stopped to pick up some breakfast. At 7:30 I had arrived home and upon doing so, I sat down to eat. I then brushed my teeth before sitting down at my desk to fill up my weekly pill containers. After doing so I then waited for United. United had arrived at 8:30, so I had grabbed my lunch and my duffle bag and went out to the van. Upon my arrival to West Side I had made my way down stairs. Upon doing so I had put my lunch into the refrigerator then made my way into the gym for my P.T. session with Dan. Dan first took my resting blood pressure 110 over 70. I then walked on the tread mill for twenty minutes at 2.4 m.p.h. Being my first time back on since in the hospital Dan had me walking at a slow speed. At ten minutes into the walk he had taken a blood pressure reading 112 over 70. At the end of my walk it was 110 over 70. I had burned 83.7 calories and walked .798 miles. Dan then had me in the parallel bars doing leg raises, marching, side to side and so on. At 11:00 I had made my way to the conference room for laughter therapy group. During this time, Pete, Paul, Alisa, Michelle, and I first spoke about inviting a laughter instructor to come in and speak to the group and do some laughing exercises, With Florina and Deb. We then did a laughing session with Robert Rivest. At 12:00 I then back downstairs to the kitchen to eat my lunch. After doing so I had gone back upstairs for my speech session with Carina. Today Carina had me practicing relaxed throaat breathing while walking laps around the bottom level of Westside. At 1:30 Ron from United took me home. Upon my arrival home at 2:15 I had gone straight to my desk to fill out a questioner sent to me from Eastern Main Medical Center about my last stay there three weeks ago. At 3:00 I then did my upper weight exercises and then my stretching. At 4;00 I then took my shower before sitting down to blog.
